House Democrats Delay Health Care Bill (Indefinitely)
Source: Roll Call

House Democrats’ health care bill has been delayed indefinitely as leaders continue negotiations with fiscally conservative Blue Dog Democrats.

Committee chairmen had planned to release their bill on Friday and begin marking it up on Monday, but notices were sent out this morning noting that both the release and markup would be delayed.

However many their corporate masters tell them to use.

12. Unfortunately, it will be open season on Democrats, particularly the ones in districts that
are a bit more liberal than your usual "Blue dog" district. The voters there will be so outraged that health care got stalled that they will end up staying home which will help the GOP gain seats. Expect to hear the GOP campaign on a platform of "Democrats break their promises." This will taint the whole party--even though it is actually the GOP which is shooting down healthcare.

Not much about them is blue.

3. FIght the good fight. Take as long as it takes, but don't give in to people who do not believe in
Democracy, but have fooled the public in fraudulent elections
pretending they do.

We need to get these people out.

4. Health reform in jeopardy as House delays action
Source: The Hill

House Democrats will not unveil their full healthcare reform package on Friday nor begin committee work on the bill next week as planned, the latest sign that President Obama’s signature domestic initiative is in trouble.

The delay caps off a rocky week for Democrats and puts Obama’s goal of having both chambers pass a bill by the August recess increasingly at risk.

In spite of the disorder among congressional Democrats, Obama said his goals and timeline remain doable.

“There are going to be some tough negotiations in the days and weeks to come, but I'm confident that we're going to get it done,” Obama said during a news conference in Italy Friday.

5. Great as they say - health care reform is needed for the economy to resurge. If the
Democrats are OK with losing the economy and all the billions spent on the TARP and the stimulus then fine. The way to 2012 will be sealed. And the country will be the worse off because of the Dems. What a legacy. And Obama will be a side note to history whose time was not yet right for his presidency.

6. Recommend after you have e-mailed your Representative and your senators about health care.
I did it this morning. Google gave me this link for the e-mail addresses of Congress.

11. Once again we may have to pound the
pavements in D.C. to get Congress to understand we are not going to take much more of this crap! This is treasonous behavior on the part of the blue dogs. The only message I get from them is they don't give a hoot about the health of our country.
