Unknown masked Iraqi group threatens holy war with US
Unknown masked Iraqi group threatens holy war with US

An unknown group of masked Iraqi Muslim militants has threatened to fight a holy war against US President George W Bush and his administration.
Their videotaped message was aired on the Dubai-based television station Al-Arabiya on Monday.

A masked man reading the statement called his group the "Salafist Jihad Group".
Addressing the US President and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, the man said that there will be no "peace and security" as long as the US is declaring war against Islam and Muslims.

To America, the protector of paganism and Judaism and Zionism, you have to know that all of us, the youngsters, want to die for the sake of Allah (God) and Islam and we are ready to pay this price," said the man.

"You, Bush and Rumsfeld, you both and all the decision makers in the Black House and the Pentagon, we are going to put fire under your feet and there will be a fire pouring over your head like you've never seen before and nobody can stop it except Allah," he continued.

4. It's not you
I was just going to post this story until I searched and found yours with the SAME EXACT reaction.

This is BAD news for us! If this were our clumsy propaganda, it would not be printed on ChannelNews ASIA? We would have had hate-mongerers like Pipe and Emerson 'preparing' us for the emergence of this group! Is this why Condi Rice is looking so PALE these days?

Congratulations neo-cons, we have just irretrievably crossed the threshold into WWIV!!!!

THANK YOU? IS CARLYLE HAPPY NOW?

6. Why do they hate us? Perhaps it is because of what we have done...
"We consider the Americans now as war criminals," said Mahmoud al-Baghdadi, a 32-year-old baker. "They claim to be fighting terrorism, but they cannot defend freedom by killing disabled people."

Yaqdan Kadhem, a waiter, said that before he had felt sympathy for the Americans, but now he supported the attacks on US troops. "Until now I was against Saddam Hussein, but now I hate the Americans for what they did yesterday."

The coalition refused to comment on events in Mansur, except to say the raid had been carried out by Task Force 20.

10. Remember this group? The SALAFIST JIHAD GROUP

Moroccan police rounded up 33 suspects Saturday, including some linked to the Salafist Jihad group. Five were still in custody Sunday, government sources said.
...
One of Salafist Jihad's main spiritual leaders, Ould Mohammed Abdelwahab Raqiqi, alias Abu Hafs, was jailed this year for inciting violence against Westerners.

The 28-year-old cleric, who was among the Arab mujahideen in Afghanistan in the early 1990s, has expressed clear support for the September 11 attacks on New York and Washington and hailed the al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden as a hero.

The attacks targeted mainly Jewish and Spanish sites. Spain was a leading U.S. ally in the war on Iraq.
