several reporters and locals on the ground. He's been on the air covering this story for hours a day this week. His on the ground sources have also discussed the way the mainstream press has been reporting it and revealing much of the mainstream pro-Bush pro-corporate bias.

14. Ive been listining to Pacifica for over a year now and so far,

they have been right on the money with everything. I heard the Wilson Plame, CIA outing, long before it hit the corporate medias' news. I heard the bogus WMD claims, before the war started. They, Pacifica have reporters, Greg Palest like reporters on the ground in Haiti and ahve been airing this US CIA coup for over a week now. Let the truth be told. Pacifica/FSRN Rocks the empire.

HAITIAN leader Jean Bertrand Aristide was taken away from his home by US soldiers, it was claimed today.

A man who said he was a caretaker for the now exiled president told France's RTL radio station the troops forced Aristide out. "The American army came to take him away at two in the morning," the man said.

"The Americans forced him out with weapons. "It was American soldiers. They came with a helicopter and they took the security guards. "(Aristide) was not happy. He did not want to be taken away. He did not want to leave. He was not able to fight against the Americans."

The RTL journalist who carried out the interview described the man as a "frightened old man, crouched in a corner" who said he was the "caretaker of the residence".

Callers from Illinois and Colorado identified themselves as Democratic Undergrounders and provided some great points to the on air discussion, outing the cynical participation of the bushler cabal in this coup.

19. I was following the program here from Germany

and heard the calls from DUers, too. There also was a very moving call from a Caribbean, who pointed out how embarrassing it is for the Haitians, that all of these "covert" actions are conducted in bright daylight and what suffering these manipulations cause among the people over there. It was heartbreaking to hear the speech of this old man...

May I add that it's incredible, that through the Internet, I am able to follow the events in Haiti and have rather unbiased comments from radio hosts about it?
Because here in Germany we are fed more or less the same propaganda as you get in the US. Even the most important news magazine here, "Der Spiegel", is very, very sloppy in its reporting about the so-called "crisis" in Haiti.
