Filmmaker Michael Moore Targeting Economic Crisis
Source: ABC News/Reuters

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Firebrand filmmaker Michael Moore, who targeted the Bush administration in "Fahrenheit 9/11" and the healthcare industry in "Sicko," is now focusing on the global economic meltdown.

The Oscar-winning director will release his as-yet-untitled documentary across North America on October 2, co-financiers Overture Films and Paramount Vantage said on Thursday.

"The wealthy, at some point, decided they didn't have enough wealth," the statement quoted Moore as saying.

"They wanted more -- a lot more. So they systematically set about to fleece the American people out of their hard-earned money. Now, why would they do this? That is what I seek to discover in this movie."

14. Can we see some Previews???
Just a few ???

Give us some information that will put them in prison, soon.

You know who the lobbyist are, you know who wrote the laws that deregulated the banking industry, it was a conspiracy to "Destroy America", plain and simple.

15. Maybe this will be the film....

...that will finally wake up the sheep.

Moore tried to explain how we were all being bamboozled by politicians and that the corporations were
running our government through money and influence. The Republicans balked, because their President had
such an investment in the Iraq war. If you criticized Iraq war, the Republicans just couldn't take it,
because that meant you were disparaging their beloved president.

Maybe this movie will bring it all home. We are being hoodwinked and fleeced beyond repair. The corporations
control the politicians, not "We The People".

Maybe, just maybe--we needed to get socked in our bank accounts and in our investment portfolios--before we wake the
hell up.

For a long time, our country has been disintegrating. This isn't a partisan issue. This is a Constitutional issue.

I hope that this movie will build a bridge between Republicans and Democrats, and progressives and conservatives--so that
we can unite and throw these bums out and take back our country! Yes, we will always have our differences, but if we
can't agree on basic Constitutional issues--then both sides stand to lose our country. Then, no one wins.

I hope....I really hope, that this is THE film.

18. Hope he interviews David Cay Johnston, Thom Hartmann and Elizabeth Warren.
Three personalities that have been telling it like it is for YEARS about the horrible economic practices and policies from the far-right upper echelon. Long story short: wages haven't been keeping up with the cost of living for 28 years, and because of that, Americans cannot save and they go into debt.

CEOs treat workers the same way they treat a piece of gum they step on during lunch hour. They reduce everything we put our passions, time, money and lives into as if it was nothing but a hobby; a position which we shouldn't be compensated any better than a just-above-broke cashier for. They lose not a second's sleep when they fire hundreds to thousands of workers, seeing it as just another facet of business and that's that.

Degrees have been rendered all but worthless, as you need a bachelors to file papers and need to be making at least $50,000 a year just to afford the debt for college (never mind paying for it in cash).

There should be a whole CHAPTER devoted to the toilet-ready paradigm known as globalism, and the indignity of training your foreign replacement, as thousands of workers have had to do.

I for one will be watching this one twice in case I missed anything the first time.
