Bush to Limit Interview with 9/11 Panel to an Hour
Here is the link! Sorry I forgot it in the last thread...

http://www.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?type=topNews&storyID=4456767

<snip>
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The panel investigating the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States will get one hour to ask President Bush what he knew about events leading up to the suicide airline hijackings, the White House said on Friday.

"They are looking at an hour as you pointed out," White House spokesman Scott McClellan said when asked by a reporter whether he could confirm reports that Bush was limiting the meeting to an hour.

Rather than sitting down with all 10 members of the so-called 9/11 commission, Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney have only agreed to meet privately with its chairman, Thomas Kean, and the vice chairman, Lee Hamilton.

<snip>

Created by the U.S. Congress, the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States is charged with examining lapses in intelligence and national security in the months before the attacks. Strikes by hijacked airplanes on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon killed about 3,000 people.

In fact, you should do that and then ask the mods to lock this one.

edit: Sorry, didn't know the original was locked.

3. They realize the blowback but can't risk allowing Bush to expose ...
They realize the blowback that this limitation will ahve on Bush's credibility, but they can't risk allowing Bush to expose information that he most certainly will expose.

They also think he is untouchable on this. That the sheeple feel Bush is the great warrior against terror and thet the sheeple will not question Bush.

6. Since he is SO busy and can only give them an hour
why don't they just ride along to all the freaking fundraisers in Air Force One. Hell, the trip to LA would get them 3 hours alone!

"On Wednesday, Bush flies to Los Angeles for a pair of fund-raisers — a midday event for his re-election campaign, and a dinner for the Republican National Committee (news - web sites). It will be his 11th visit to the state since taking office.

Bush has a third California fund-raiser scheduled for Thursday in Santa Clara. He also planned a public event on the economy in Bakersfield, Calif."

Assuming it takes all of 60 seconds for Bush to spill all he knows and thinks?

9. Thomas Kean is a joke - one hour secret meeting is a bigger joke
http://www.globalresearch.ca/articles/CHO212A.html

Now you would think that being a business partner of the brother in law and alleged financier of "Enemy No. 1" would be considered a bona fide "conflict of interest", particularly when your mandate --as part of the 9/11 Commission's work-- is to investigate "Enemy No. 1".

New Chairman of 9/11 Commission
had business ties with Osama's Brother in Law
by Michel Chossudovsky

Check it out and then you'll know why junior is being so coy

12. Agree Kean is a joke.
As NJ Governor, he left a huge fiscal crisis for the incoming Democratic Governor, who was forced to commit political suicide because he had to raise taxes to clean up Kean's mess. An hour is way too much time to find out what Shrub new leading up to 9/11, unless they want to find out about the record amount of time he spent at Camp David, Crawford or the Bush compound in Maine. This is fresh meet to tear Bush apart.

13. well no surprise there
and the repuke chairman doesn't want to know the truth -- and i love lee hamilton, but he reminds me of john mcain in this instance -- doesn't believe any president could have guilt associated with this tragic event.

15. He will still have all this BLOOD on his hands
no answers to the families of the 9/11 victims that have asked questions, all the BLOOD of innocent Iraqis and Afghans, all the BLOOD of our American military shed in his fucking WAR Against Terror, in other words-he will use this HOUR of his precious TIME to magnify THE WAR PRESIDENT:argh:

All this BLOOD is solely the result of George W. Bush allowing the neo-conservative TRAITORS to follow PNAC IMHO. Plus there's been some type of coup that has failed, a spook war inside the shadow government of this criminal, the LIAR, George W. Bush.

In solidarity, people, ABB.

The only good thing about this is what a great campaign issue it will make.

21. Anybody got the number of the Commission? This is un-
acceptable. The person being investigated does not get to set the terms. The least he is guilty of is incompetence; he continued to read a book for 20 minutes after he knew we were under attack. His brain is mush, I know, but even the shrub in my backyard would know that a President does NOT evade his duties in such a pathetic manner. And the whole nation saw that picture over and over. We need to bring it back out.
