Syringes Of Blood, Sex Harness Found In Man's Garage

Young men attending sex parties in Orlando, Fla., were reportedly drugged and injected with tainted blood inside a man's garage, according to a Local 6 News report.

After an investigation, authorities determined that Randall was reportedly having sex parties in the garage of his home at 211 E. Kaley St. and possibly injecting the men with blood.

According to court records, four witnesses said "Randall lured subjects to his residence via the Internet for the purpose of sex and once they were at his residence he would get them high" with drugs.

The report also said Randall had a sex harness in the garage and "once the subjects were in the harness, Randall and other participants would have sex with them and videotape them."

5. Crimes like this are not really about sex... more about violence

like rape, they are violent crimes. I don't think this guy is gay as much as he is a violent sociopath. it's about the control, more than it is about sex.

9. It could make a difference

if the blood was tainted with food coloring or with a disease, virus or drugs. If the blood had pathogens that relate directly to the blood of the man arrested, it could lead to attempted homicide, and more. If there were drugs in the blood, it could lead to more arrests in regard to acquisition of those drugs and the people involved.

Am not discounting the horror of what was done, and am completely dismayed by any criminal intent and actions against same-sex attracted people. I agree with you that it was, to say the least, a bad idea.

12. There was a Village Voice article in the early to mid 1990s

that compared how Gays are demonized using a "blood libel" of sorts with the same demonization experienced by Jews throughout history. I think it was a one page article that had a chart and the blood related accusations against Gays and Jews.

Same argument different group being demonized right now.

If I recall correctly, some heroin users will withdraw blood prior to injecting heroin, to get a better high. The blood-filled syringes may just be the result of drug use, rather than malicious injection of tainted blood.
