Consumer Sentiment Falls Sharply

NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. consumer sentiment fell sharply in February, as Americans turned cautious about the U.S. economy that has been hampered by sluggish jobs growth, according to a survey released on Friday.

The University of Michigan's final reading of consumer sentiment slipped to 94.4 in February from January's final reading of 103.8, which was its highest level in over three years, said market sources, who saw the subscriber-only report.
