3. Walmart management is nothing but a concentration of jerkwads.
I stopped shopping there a long time ago. Target and Khol's offer higher quality products for almost the same price. F-Mao-Mart.

7. they're losing the marriage issue, so now they're turning to adoption
I hate Wal-Mart and haven't shopped there for years. The stuff they sell is tacky, sleazy, cheap junk.

14. the ugliness in the souls of the owners
it's not only the cheap junk, but their cheap exploitation of young, vulnerable workers, their uglification of suburban areas, their soulless, bloodsucking demands of suppliers and manufacturers, and their treatment of employees like disposable commodities not worth treating with respect and care.

When I was a kid, "Sears and Roebuck" was the biggest name in town. We ordered most of our school clothes from the S&R catalog, and some major appliances. Like all behemoths, Sears eventually fell, maybe not all the way, but to a lower position, and Wal-Mart eventually will too. I just hope I live to see that day.

20. I remember the S&R Christmas Wishbook
I always skipped the clothing section and went right to the hobby section. I always wanted their super deluxe coin collecting kit, but never got it. But I did get Winnie-the-Pooh and Peanuts comic books, a rock tumbler kit and an acrylic paperweight-making kit from the Wishbook.

Fond memories from the Sixties...

10. why doesn't Mike Duke want children to have homes?
Why does he want children to grow up without parents to love and care for them?

17. Technically, it didn't outlaw gay adoption. It outlawed adoption to "unmarried" people who are
cohabitating.

But since gay people can't get married...

11. "Gay adoption?" Aren't most adoptions joyful? (Sorry, but terms like
"gay marriage" and "gay adoption" are to me like nails on a blackboard.)
