Drew Peterson Arrested In Murder Investigation
Source: Joliet News Herald

BOLINGBROOK – Authorities arrested Drew Peterson Thursday near his Bolingbrook home for the murder of his third wife Kathleen Savio, according to police sources.

Police took Peterson into custody at Weber and Lilly Cache roads.

Savio, 40, was found dead in a dry bathtub in her Bolingbrook home in March 2004.

At the time, Illinois State Police failed to find anything suspicious and her death was ruled an accidental drowning by a coroner’s jury.

1. Finally -- I knew it would happen sooner or later
I fear his last wife's body will never be found.

And, all of those fucking fellow cops who covered for his ass need to be arrested, too.

2. An "accidental drowning" in a "dry bathtub" ... and the police
"failed to find anything suspicious" ?

Really?

5. I don't know if this sits well with me.
Unless there was some evidence of a cover-up in the first case.

Of course, I think the guy is a scum-bag and he is "probably" guilty - but "probably" is a far cry from beyond a reasonable doubt.

8. There was a cover up by his buddy cops, who didn't want to know the truth...

There was plenty of proof in the first autopsy that she didn't drown ~ no water in her lungs, bruises, etc. (if I remember correctly all these months later).

19. You are aware
that wife#3's body was recently exhumed, aren't you? So, it's not like they have NO evidence. How about letting a jury decide?

...found in the first autopsy. (Changed this on edit as the record was corrected on Jane's show.)

Also, the third wife actually sent a letter to the state's attorney saying that Drew was going to kill her ~ and cops were called to the house 18 times!

The new IL law to allow in as evidence the statements of murder victims will be tested in this case.

7. So funny!! Not.

“I guess I should have returned those library books,” a hand-cuffed Peterson said Thursday evening as he was being led into state police headquarters.

Sociopathic asshole.

And if he didn't do it, he's still an asshole for making light of her death.

He was an ex-Policeman/Detective and it really looks like someone was helping him out in this. I am so proud of the law enforcement in that city taking him in and trying to find out the real truth!

22. And conspiracy or obstruction of a murder investigation isn't like a day in traffic court.
Those who covered for this murder need to spend a couple of decades in prison too.
