3. But there's a little problem
UNITE has endorsed Edwards, while HERE is leaning towards Kerry (having previously shot themselves in the foot by endorsing Dean).

Whatever shall be done?

4. Merging is fine but,..
they should be careful not to become a singular target for their opposition.

5. You mean like * ?
I don't look to my workers union leaders to figure out who to support, mostly unions only give you as much representation as you pay them for in your dues.

Unions are fine to reign in inhumane working conditions or corrupt employers, but for raising Hell with a government that can make laws at their own fiat, You need a contract with the people(Constitution) and a movement of the people.

The business interests have done a end around the people who are part of this country, they have stolen our government and the Constitution. Stating that they have taken it away from the rest of us, fair and square.

They say it was written for them, the business interests, but they lie.

They have even erected an elaborate system (brain washing mass media) to keep them lies fed to the masses on a regular basis.

Dreaming of the biggest Union there could be, a PEOPLES UNION, to take back the government, to make it once again of and FOR THE PEOPLE
