Bolivia gang linked to drugs trade, race killings
Irishman drawn in after becoming Facebook 'friend' of group's leader
By JIM CUSACK
Sunday April 26 2009

The bizarre gang of violent right-wing extremists that Tipperary man Michael Dwyer was with when they were shot dead in Bolivia were linked to atrocities during the war in former Yugoslavia and were, by their own admission, planning insurrection against the left-wing government of Bolivia, it is now understood.

Mr Dwyer's body arrived back in Dublin last Thursday and has now been forwarded by the Dublin coroner to the State Pathologist. It is expected that a postmortem will be carried out on Monday and the body released to the family early next week.

"Obviously the family are very upset -- but they want to see this done properly rather than quickly, they want to find out the truth" said a spokesman.

It has now emerged that Michael Dwyer's associates in the Nacion Gamba group were responsible for racist murders and attacks on native American Bolivians and are also involved in the drugs trade. They openly flaunted their Nazi tendencies despite the fact that their leader, who was killed with Dwyer, was of part-Jewish extraction.

Opposition deputy Alejandro Colanzi, of the National Unity party, denounced on Wednesday the existence of a "blacklist" of 100 names of political, civic and opinion leaders who were in the crosshairs of terrorists under the heading of "Traitors and Sentenced Enemies".
Colanzi said that the list made the rounds of the Internet on April 12, three days after the attack on the home of Cardinal Julio Terrazas.

"The mailing indicated who was to be identified and treated as an example of the 'enemies and traitors' who participated or collaborated with a government that tried to dismember a people who until now have been tolerant," Colanzi said.

The legislator showed the press a text message that was sent to various political representatives, days before the operation in which Bolivian police broke up a terrorist cell operating in the city of Santa Cruz.

"You can see the death threat made against the President and Vice-President, which says, 'Tell your chiefs Alvaro and Evo that they're going to be eliminated'. This landed on the cellphones of certain persons in Santa Cruz," Colanzi said.

The deputy demanded of the president of the Comité Cívico Pro Santa Cruz, Luis Núñez, that he denounce those who participated in meetings in which it was decided which houses would be burned.

"The 'civico' president must denounce those who have taken part in criminal activities and must tell us that he has not participated," Colanzi insisted.

Apparently the racist oligarchy in the Half Moon, after years of using their home-grown brutal bastards, their "Youth Movement" to terrorize indigenous people, expecting to frighten them back into silent submission (as these guys have been seen coming out of the office of Croatian-Bolivian Branko Marinkovic (largest landowner in Bolivia) carrying bats, clubs, etc. which they carry with them on their forrays into the neighborhoods of indigenous Bolivians where they beat the bejesus out of people) have decided, after the Pando massacre and the murder of 30 indigenous people, it's time to move on to the BIG stuff, using the international terrorists now.

There are various video clips at this link, with scenes of them destroying national government offices, state radio station, kicking indigenous people on the ground, a video of the massacre at Povenir, shooting at indigenous people trying to get across the river, etc., etc.

3. Man shot in Bolivia linked to racist gang
Man shot in Bolivia linked to racist gang
As Michael Dwyer's body comes home, his family and the government demand an inquiry
Henry McDonald, Ireland editor The Observer, Sunday 26 April 2009

Irishman shot dead in Bolivia was linked to a gang of neo-fascist extremists with roots in the Yugoslav civil war. The body of Michael Dwyer arrived in Ireland on Thursday night and a post-mortem examination is due in the next two days.

Bolivian police claim that Dwyer, 24, from Tipperary, was killed during a 30-minute gun fight in the city of Santa Cruz. However, Dwyer and two other men were asleep when the shooting started around 4am on 16 April. The Irish government is demanding an international investigation into his death.

Dwyer died alongside Eduardo Rozsa Flores, an adventurer who held a Croatian passport, and Arpad Magyarosi, a Romanian of Hungarian ethnicity. Bolivian authorities claim the trio were hatching a plot to assassinate the country's left-wing President Evo Morales.

It is now understood that Dwyer's associates were members of a group responsible for racist murders and attacks on indigenous Bolivians.

Dwyer's family are seeking an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding his death. It appears that Dwyer was drawn to the group after becoming a Facebook "friend" of gang leader Rozsa Flores, who was openly antisemitic and is believed to have been backed by right-wing elements in the wealthy city of Santa Cruz.

Bolivia was once a haven for members of the Croatian Ustashe fascist government. They fled to South America after the second world war, fearing retribution for siding with the Nazis and committing war crimes. Their passage to countries such as Bolivia was organised by Croatian clergy operating out of the Vatican.

7. The Stern Gang
and Adolph Eichmann had close ties. This is nothing new.

http://www.amazon.com/review/R2V4WDTR2M0QDY

Incredibly, Avraham Stern, the leader of the notorious "Stern Gang," late in 1940, made a written proposal to Hitler, by which the Jewish militias in Palestine, would fight on "Germany's side," in the war against England, in exchange for the Nazis help in resolving the "Jewish Question" in Europe, and their assistance in creating an "historic Jewish state." By this date, German troops had already marched into Prague, invaded Poland, and had built the first concentration camp at Auschwitz. The deranged Stern had further bragged about how the Zionist organizations were "closely related to the totalitarian movements of Europe in ideology and structure." Stern's obscene proposal was found in the German embassy, in Turkey, after WWII.

Ultra-right-wing Zionists and Fascists have a lot in common. Look at current events to see similar connections.

9. The Argentine connection
The Carapintadas (English: Painted Faces) were a group of mutineers in the Argentine Army, who took part in uprisings during the presidency of Raúl Alfonsín in Argentina.

In December 1986, the Ley de Punto Final (Full Stop Law) was introduced. This law set a 60-day deadline for the victims of the country's Dirty War to file complaints against members of the military and police suspected of human rights abuses.

On April 15, 1987, military personnel headed by Lieutenant Colonel Aldo Rico staged a series of barrack uprisings demanding that the trials of those not exempted under the law be aborted. The mutineers were all seized, but only two arrested.

--snip--

I remember this revolt and recognized one of the mutineers who's photograph was in one of the news magazines at the time. He was one of the Argentines that I helped to train for an operation in Central America.

These guys are all connected to the right-wing-reactionary elements involved in the murder of leftists, civil rights workers and trade unionists all over Latin America.

Colombia, Israel and rogue mercenaries

Outside assistance with Colombian 'counterinsurgency' efforts in the form of Israeli 'expertise' has created dangerous rogue mercenaries and prolonged a bloody conflict.

By John CK Daly in Washington DC

Colombian Defense Minister Juan Manuel Santos has acknowledged that Bogota had quietly hired a group of former Israeli military officers to advise local defense officials on their counter-insurgency tactics against leftist Fuerza Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC) guerrillas, the Colombian daily Semana newspaper reported on 10 August.

FARC - founded in 1964 and the Western hemisphere's longest-running guerrilla movement - countered that Israeli mercenary commandos were actually involved in combat against their insurgents in Colombia's jungles.

13. Corrib link to Irish man's death
From The Sunday TimesApril 26, 2009

Corrib link to Irish man's death
Michael Dwyer worked on shell project before his death in BoliviaMark Tighe and Eduardo Garcia

MICHAEL DWYER, the Tipperary man shot dead in Bolivia, worked in security on the Shell Corrib project with a Hungarian associate of the main target of the Bolivian police attack.

It now seems likely that Tibor Revesz, 32, who worked with Dwyer for Integrated Risk Management Services (IRMS), a security company that protects Shell’s gas project in Mayo, is the link between the Tipperary man and Eduardo Rozsa Flores.

I-RMS refused to answer queries but issued a statement confirming that Dwyer worked for them up to October 20 last year.

Before he travelled to Bolivia, Flores said he was going to the Santa Cruz region to form a militia to protect the region against the central government.

17. Webs of intrigue tangle Bolivia conspiracy case
Webs of intrigue tangle Bolivia conspiracy case
Submitted by WW4 Report on Thu, 04/30/2009 - 12:45.

Bolivian authorities say the dismantling of a commando made up mainly of foreign mercenaries could lead to the people behind around a dozen different attacks carried out since 2006 in the city of Santa Cruz. Bolivian Vice President Álvaro García Linera said the attacks were aimed at destabilizing the government of Evo Morales and were to culminate in the assassination of the president. He said business leaders and landowners in the eastern province of Santa Cruz were financing the clandestine operations by the five alleged terrorists, three of whom were shot and killed by the police.

The leader of the opposition-controlled Senate, Santa Cruz businessman Oscar Ortiz, questioned the official report that the men were killed in a shootout, and said he suspected they were simply murdered by the police. According to witnesses, however, police had attempted to arrest the men in downtown Santa Cruz, and they fled to a hotel, where a half-hour shootout came to an end when the alleged plotters reportedly detonated a grenade inside their hotel room.

Santa Cruz governor Rubén Costas, Morales' most prominent political opponent and one of four governors who have sought autonomy for their provinces, initially suggested that the supposed assassination plot was staged, although he is now demanding an impartial investigation. The right-wing Santa Cruz Civic Committee, led by local business leaders and landowners, is demanding to see the evidence and photos of the commando that the government says it has.

No investigation has so far clarified the months-long escalation of bomb and arson attacks that have targeted the homes of cabinet ministers, government officials and opposition leaders in Santa Cruz since Morales took office in January 2006. However, the April 15 attack on the Santa Cruz home of Roman Catholic Cardinal Julio Terrazas, which was carried out with military-style plastic explosives, caused a public outcry. Terrazas was out of town at the time of the attack, for which no one claimed responsibility.

18. Dwyer linked with neo-Nazi group: claim
Dwyer linked with neo-Nazi group: claim

By JIM CUSACK

Sunday May 03 2009

The Bolivian authorities have claimed that Michael Dwyer, the Tipperary man shot dead by police two weeks ago, was heavily involved in a neo-Nazi terror group Szekler.

Last week the Bolivian government released pictures of Mr Dwyer and other members of the group posing for photographs surrounded by guns. The group is also suspected of planting a bomb at the home of a Catholic cardinal in Bolivia, the day before he and two Hungarian terrorists were shot dead.

The same terror group which the Bolivians say Mr Dwyer (24) joined last October was suspected of carrying a series of attacks on the homes of Bolivian cabinet ministers, civil servants and politicians since 2006 when its leader, Eduardo Rozsa-Flores, sneaked into the country.

One of Rozsa-Flores' closest associates, also a Hungarian, is living in Ireland and met Michael Dwyer when they worked together for the security firm I-RMS during its contract with Shell. I-RMS was making no comment on the affair but sources in the security industry said the Hungarian they employed had proper credentials and has no known criminal record in Hungary or elsewhere.

On Friday the Bolivian government released pictures taken from cameras found in the rooms in the four-star hotel where five member of the gang were staying. The pictures include several of Dwyer holding guns and rifles.

The 32-year-old Hungarian ex-soldier travelled to Bolivia with Dwyer on October 20 along with two other Hungarians. While Dwyer stayed on, the three Hungarians returned, two to Hungary and the 32-year-old ex-soldier to Cavan. It is believed he and a number of other men of east European nationality attended Dwyer's funeral in Tipperary on Thursday but did not speak to any mourners.

Despite repeated claims that Mr Dwyer was an innocent party and had been associated with "adventurers", photographs released by the Bolivian authorities last week show he was heavily armed and close with the terrorist ring-leader Rosza-Torres, a man who has been implicated in ethnic cleansing in former Yugoslavia and who, at his own admission, was actively seeking the overthrow of left-wing Bolivian president Evo Morales.

20. Bolivia: Deputies Question Terrorism Suspects
Sunday 03 May 2009, San José, Costa Rica
Bolivia: Deputies Question Terrorism Suspects

La Paz - The special commission of the Bolivian Chamber of Deputies begins today the questioning of alleged members of a terrorist group arrested in Santa Cruz last April 16. Cesar Navarro, of the governing Movement to Socialism (MAS), heads the work group. He said deputies traveled to the San Pedro penitentiary in La Paz to start the process.

The pólice detained Juan Carlos Gueder Bruno and Alcides Mendoza Malavi, as well as members of the Union Juvenil Crucenista, opposition shock group last Tuesday and the civic committee of that Eastern región.

The MP announced that after receiving the statements of the detainees, will have concluded the first phase of the probe to elaborate a complete report which will be submitted to Congress next week.

Last Wednesday, Navarro assured the Commission was near of establishing who brought the alleged terrorists from abroad and who financed his stay in Bolivia.

The eve, Bolivian prosecutors revealed new evidence on the terrorist network, among them the presentation to the press of Gueder, who admitted to have sold a gun to Eduardo Rozsa Flores, extremist shot April 16 in the Santa Cruz hotel Las Americas.

Gueder accused other individuals of supporting the group, putting forward that at this time they should be facing justice.

As pàrt of the evidences withdrawn from a reserve status given to the probe until now, attorney Marcelo Sosa also presented 58 photographs found in a vehicle confiscated to the dismantled group two weeks ago.

22. You're right. It's easy to get the nutballs wild by directing their attention to Hugo Chavez,
He's confident, outgoing, and wants the US to stop trying to violently overthrow his government.

Evo Morales is quiet, reserved, not so easy for violent, democracy-scorning fascist clowns here to get a handle on!

You remember once it was known Evo Morales was most clearly going to win the election for Bolivia's Presidency, Donald Rumsfeld went behind the back of the sitting Bolivian President, to the military officers, and arranged to spirit out of the country their entire stock of missiles, and transport them to a U.S. base in Texas.

This was so underhanded it almost defies belief. Once their sitting President learned what had happened he was wildly angry, fired the high-ranking officials. Evo Morales was beside himself, as well.

This was all set in motion BEFORE he was elected.

You remember Rumsfeld, and other Bush officials spent an inordinate amount of time actually politicking AGAINST Evo Morales, issuing dire threats to the country over what would happen if they elected him, and as soon as he was elected, Bush hacked a TON of money the U.S. had been sending there to their military, which would really anger the Bolivian military officers who found themselves operating with a much smaller budget. These guys of course would be far more likely to take part in a planned coup, if one just happened to appear.

Vampires is exactly right.

Martin rules out Garda role in Dwyer death investigation
By Scott Millar, Jimmy Woulfe and Gerard Couzens

Saturday, May 02, 2009

FOREIGN Minister Micheál Martin has ruled out Garda involvement in the inquiry into the death of Michael Dwyer in Bolivia as more evidence emerges of the young Irishman’s links to extreme right-wing paramilitaries.

Mr Dwyer, 24, was buried on Thursday in his native Tipperary following his shooting by security forces in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, on April 16.

Bolivian police investigating the circumstances surrounding Mr Dwyer’s death have linked him to a plot to destabilise the South American country by murdering prominent political figures.

An alleged accomplice, Juan Carlos Gueder Bruno, who heads a far-right Bolivian organisation – the Santa Cruz Youth Council or UJC – is reported to have turned state witness. According to Bolivian media reports, Mr Gueder Bruno said he attended meetings along with Mr Dwyer during which the killing of local politicians was discussed.

Mr Gueder Bruno was meant to locate weapons for Mr Dwyer’s group.

Mr Gueder Bruno is reported as stating: "I am accused of terrorism, and my only crime was to sell a homemade weapon, an old Bren model, for $1,000."

He added that he "withdrew from the project" when the gang’s leader, Bolivian-Hungarian Eduardo Rozsa Flores, 48, said that he intended to assassinate two right-wing politicians allied to Mr Gueder Bruno’s organisation. He hoped this so-called "Black Flag" operation would be blamed on left-wing activists, so increasing tensions in Bolivia.

24. Key witness in Bolivia terrorist plot

Key witness in Bolivia terrorist plot

BOLIVIA: Juan Carlos Gueder, one of the men arrested on April 16 in Bolivia for his connection with a terrorist gang plotting to kill President Evo Morales has named Ignacio Villa Paz as a key witness for the Public Prosecution.

The Justice Ministry says Villa Paz, a.k.a. "El Viejo" will take the stand on Monday at a hearing on the groupA's plot foiled at Las Americas Hotel in Santa Cruz. Defense Attorney Denver Pedraza said that Ignacio Villa Paz, born in Cotoca, Santa Cruz, was chief of operations for gang leader, a Bolivian-born Hungarian who has been identified as Eduardo Rozsa.

The daily says El Viejo was in charge of recruiting the members of the group whose main goal was perpetrating terrorist acts and assassinating President Evo Morales and other national and regional officials.

The April 16 police raid at Las Americas Hotel left three men dead, including Rozsa.

Michael Dwyer was a 24-year-old Irish security guard, while Arpad Magyarosi, 29, was a Hungarian. Another two men with ties to Croatia and Hungary were arrested in rooms down the hall.
