Canadian freed from Egyptian jail
OTTAWA - A 63-year-old Canadian man was released from an Egyptian jail Tuesday, said Liberal MP Tan McTeague.


Elsherief is the third former principal of a Scarborough Islamic school to be held and questioned in Canada or abroad since the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.
