Tenet: al-Qaida Spreads Anti-U.S. Agenda
CIA Director George Tenet said Tuesday that the al-Qaida terror group is seriously damaged but has spread its radical anti-American agenda to other Islamic extremist groups that now pose the greatest threat to the United States.

"The steady growth of Osama bin Laden's anti-U.S. sentiment through the wider Sunni (Islamic) extremist movement, and the broad dissemination of al Qaida's destructive expertise, ensure that a serious threat will remain for the foreseeable future with or without al Qaida in the picture," Tenet told the Senate Intelligence Committee in his annual assessment of global threats.

2. can't we have a sincere, up front, CIA director?

Instead, why do I think that this Tenet is supporting Bush?

Is there something about Tenet I do not know? Does he belong to the same Opus Dei church as Scalia and others?

This is ridiculous. We are a country with an enormous amount of wealth and an enormous military machine all hyped up to invade wherever an AWOL insane, fascist , practically a dictator, tells them to Why do we have such banal people running our intelligence agencies?

Something smells here like a codfish that has been dead on the dock, in the sun, for three days.

I saw that Rockefeller asked the question, I don't see what the answer was...

6. and the question can be asked as: is the WORLD a safer place
(as Busboy claims) since we invaded Iraq? I don't think so. Is it a cause and effect relationship? I do think so.

7. Is this laying the ground work for the post-bin Laden capture?
I mean, they wouldn't want the terror-mania to die down.

9. "Al-Qaeda Spreads Anti-U.S. Agenda" says Tenet ...
Another revelatory and breath-taking breakthrough from George Tenet.

Instead of covering the obvious, the press should be asking what happened to intelligence gathered before 9-11 and how was it received and/or manipulated by the Pentagon.
