Bush Accuses Kerry of Waffling on Issues
WASHINGTON - President Bush (news - web sites) took the offensive on his re-election campaign Monday, casting Sen. John Kerry (news - web sites) as a waffler and warning that the Democrats would raise taxes, expand the government and fail to lead decisively on national security.

1. LMAO
"Expand the government"....LOL! Coming from Bush, this is especially hilarious. Next thing you know, he'll be accusing Kerry of wanting to "throw Americans into a fiery pit of deficit and war".

Also, where's their usual "out of touch with the American people" mantra? How can they possibly go without using that one?

2. That's from a guy who said the army shouldn't be used for nation building.
And that America should stay out of the affairs of other nations.

er, DHS. The largest bureaucratic entity created in decades.

So this will be the mad chimp's campaign. Well, my guess is that line is getting old, given their performance.

I love waffles. Would enjoy them even more if a power-crazed bold-faced liar wasn't in the White House.

Hey George, I remember you saying this as recently as last week!

"We're gonna create 2.6 million jobs by the end of this year"

Then, the next day...

"Wait we were just foolin', those numbers might be wrong"

Or howzabout this one..

"I was a fighter pilot, I like speed." (at NASCAR)

"I can't remember where I was in Alabama, here are my dental records"

Get real, George. You are a phony. Maybe you should grab your plastic turkey and go try to find some WMD in Iraq. You're gonna need 'em before November 2nd.

Mr Dressup on an aircraft carrier.....too laughable!!!!!!!

11. Don't forget his trifecta waffle/lie.
He claimed during the 2000 campaign that he would never run a deficit under any circumstances. Then when in office he said he would only run a deficit under recession, national security, or war, boy I hit the trifecta. Gore was the one that actually gave the caveats about when he would run a deficit. Shrub dropped that one when it was pointed out to him.

9. Well, let's see...
1. Kerry is a "waffler" - Junior is a liar.

2. Democrats will raise taxes - the GOP cut taxes to the waelthiest one percent and look where it's gotten us.

3. Democrats will expand the government - you mean it can actually be expanded past the level at which the GOP has expanded it?

4. Democrats will fail to lead decisively on National Security - is going to war based on a pack of lies, leading "decisively on National Security"?

12. What about pretzeling?
If anyone's "waffling" on the issues, Bush is! That is probably the most hypocritical statement I have heard spew forth from Shrub's mouth in the past 12 hours.

15. So these are emerging as the campaign themes:
1) I was *resident when 911 happened

and

2) I'm a decisive--just forget about the rash and the "oopsie" parts--leader

I mean, that's the main themes they'll be going with? Weak. Frickin' weak.

18. where's the TRIFECTA video series?...where bush LAUGHS and
jokes about hitting the TRIFECTA....

might make good campaign commercials...with the buildings burning in the background and bush* laughing how he hit the trifecta...

or another example of bush* leadership is the film at the Booker elementary as the planes hit their targets, complete with the narratives of how long he sat there reading books to children..and add a few photos of the panic here in OUR Nation's Capital...I was here and we were looking for a leader, bush* fled...and at least Rudy got up and said something, but there wasn't a peep out of the chickenhawk (no pun intended)....

22. A 1 minute ad of Bush sitting with the school clock rotating 20 minutes
while the WTC is in flames should clear up what the Waffler-in-chief was doing before he "fled harm's way" for the rest of the day.

16. quite a drop in donations too....the 'dick' didn't cash in like earlier
Edited on Mon Feb-23-04 10:41 PM by amen1234

in the Campaign, when dick could haul in at least the standard reTHUGlican FEE of $1 MILLION for a 20-minute dick-speech....more speeches, less money..things are slipping all around for the 'texas souffle' and his companion, draft dodger 5-deferments dick 'I had other priorities'

"Vice President dick cheney (news - web sites) raised $200,000 in Minneapolis on Monday and another $200,000 Monday evening in Wichita, Kan."

23. What a creep
<<"If America shows weakness and uncertainty, the world will drift toward tragedy. That will not happen on my watch." >

Umm…it already has happened under your watch Dubya. Are you so lost in your little fantasy world that you don’t remember the tragic, senseless and horrific events of September 11th 2001?

<Bush pledged to improve the economy and "keep our enemies on the run>

Unless you are in the Bin Laden family, in which case you get a free pass out of the country after one of your members propagates a national tragedy. Or that matter unless you are a member of the Saudi royal family

<The Democratic presidential hopefuls "have not offered much in the way of strategies to win the war, or policies to expand the economy," he said.>

25. Life of Simpleton.
Repigs only see in black and white. Some questions for them: Are you for religion or against it? For Islam or against it? For government or against it? For WMD or against them?

Complexity does not exist in the underdeveloped Repig pseudobrain.

I seriously think this is the first chimp to smoke crack in the wh.

Someone please take the crack pipe away from the chimp. Or maybe leave it so he can go on blabbering like the idiot he is. I've seen that dummy speak before and he stops every two words or so, to catch up with the teleprompter no doubt.

28. made me laugh
that's all George is good for these days--actually any days--a laugh

Did Laura get her talking points today as you both sipped your coffee and read five newspapers in bed, George? I suppose you did tell her to hint around that democrats are commie liberals who are in a conspiracy against George the dimwitted and who will raise taxes--

I am glad to see him on the offensive this early. Things are going to get very rough out there. We need Edwards to add to Kerry's punch or lob one of his own at George--
