Sweden raises dollar concerns with U.S. Treasury
Sweden's economy minister said on Monday his country was worried about a sharp drop in the U.S. dollar and the implications it could have on an economic recovery in Europe.

Gunnar Lund, on a visit to Washington, said he had expressed Sweden's concerns about risks of a further decline in the U.S. dollar during a meeting with U.S. Treasury Secretary John Snow.

The euro was trading around $1.2550 against the dollar in New York on Monday, after hitting a record high of $1.2927 last week.

1. No kidding
When I was in Copenhagen this summer it was 6.6/6.7 kroner to the dollar. Now it's down to 5.8 DKK to the dollar. It was at a high of like 8 under Clinton.

This blows, I wanted to buy a bunch of Danish soccer shit.
