US Dec Oil Use Revised +3.3% Vs Est To 19.76 Million B/D - EIA

U.S. petroleum product demand was revised up by a sharp 3.3% to 20.716 million barrels a day in December, the highest level for any month since December 2000, government data released Monday show.

Officials of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries had blamed the strong prices on speculation in the U.S. futures market, but many analysts said they believed strong demand fundamentals were supporting the high prices.

I really like my new Honda Civic Hybrid, with it's 47 MPG Average. Sure, it's not a fast, flashy or sporty as the Camaro was, but damn do I like driving over 500 miles on a single tankful (~ 13 gallons).

I am getting an average of 50 mpg with my Toyota Prius! And since Saudi Arabian oil is starting to run out .... Well uberotto and I will be driving while the rest of you are walking and walking and walking ... :)
