"According to the newspaper, American soldiers stationed in Asadabad, Qunar province, will not search for the Taleban and Al Qaeda militants, but enforce law and order in two northeastern provinces- Qunar and neighbouring Nurestan."

Their ultimate mission is to establish a presence of any sort in the area.

The purpose of establishing a presence?

2. 736 U.S. Military Garrisons Worldwide

Should this new fort in occupied country #130
have a golf course?

Currently, 235 out of 736 military encampments in occupied
territories have 18 hole golf courses.

Hopefully, opening up the Asadabad golf facilities will promote
the sharing of the peace pipe with the Northeast Drug Lord Alliance.

3. Does any other country have that many world-wide garrisons?

Its no wonder we can't "afford" a national health care system.
Soon we're run out of money for social security too.

But there's always funds for military expansion.

And wouldnt' be so bad if these bases were actually making the world safer/ more stable.

I recently read about a community in Eugene, Oregon that is taking up blood donations to pay a teacher's salary. This is an obscenity for a country as rich as America!
