Police smash pro-Poe protests - Philippines
Hours before 14 justices began hearing arguments on Poe's citizenship, hundreds of riot police charged with batons to push back rock-throwing supporters of the action movie hero, who leads President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo in voter polls.

Water cannons then helped repel protesters chanting Poe's initials "FPJ, FPJ."

Elsewhere, about 3,000 backers, including movie stars, gathered peacefully at a Manila park known for political speeches before late dictator Ferdinand Marcos imposed martial law in 1972.

Isn't this sweet. You've got Whore Arroyo, child prostituion rampant in the PI, the PI economy is a Whore of a showing before/since Marcos was overthrownand, and Bush declaring the PI the 'model for Asia to follow' on his run away from the White House when the WMD story was breaking.

How many American Media Whores are going pick up on all of these facts? Fineman and Russert and Woodward belong in Guantanamo Bay!
