Poll Shows Democrats Beating Bush
VOA News
19 Feb 2004, 01:14 UTC

A new opinion poll says either of the two main Democratic presidential candidates would beat President Bush by at least 10 points if the election were held today.

The poll, published Wednesday by CNN and the USA Today newspaper, shows Democratic front-runner John Kerry beating Mr. Bush by 55 to 43 percent.

Mr. Kerry's main rival, Senator John Edwards of North Carolina, holds a 10 point advantage over the incumbent, 54 to 44 percent.

7. And don't forget the timely
death of the beloved former president Ronald Reagan, whose dying wishes in late October) or last wishes before slipping into oblivion) are a hope for George and Laura to have the same happy years that he and Nancy had in the White House. And on a cresting tidal wave of sentiment we all forget to vote.

8. So we should all wallow in fear?. . .
Or do you have anything constructive to add to the mix?

Me, I'm wasting my time waiting for BushCo to plant WMD in Iraq. . . I see your time is lost in equal absurd pursuits. . .

10. not to mention the discovery
of Osama after a courageous chase through the tunnels and caves and mountains of the Pakistani-Afghani border this monster of inhumane proportions is tracked down at the cost of many lives and bunker busting bombing raids so that he can be brought to the justice he so richly deserves thanks to our noble troops and their resolute leader. Rejoice o my people. Justice and honor and dignitude have prevailed.Four more years. Four more years.

Mike Dukakas had a 12 pt. lead over Bush 41 in the 1988 race.

11. Dupe... locking
Please continue discussion within the original LBN thread about the CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll, which can be found here:

Top Democrats lead Bush in poll - Kerry/Edwards 12-10 point edge over Bush

It would be very helpful to those following this story if you could add your article/links to the original thread.

Thanks!
