25 US troops hurt in Kuwait
25 US troops hurt in Kuwait
Tuesday 17 February 2004

Twenty five US soldiers were injured when their bus overturned near an air force based used by Kuwaiti and American-led forces in northern Kuwait.

The incident took place on Sunday near Ali al-Salim Air Base, 70km northwest of the capital Kuwait City, US military spokesman Captain Randall Baucom said on Tuesday.

"Four of the soldiers were taken to a Kuwaiti armed forces hospital and are in a stable condition, while 21 were treated at a local camp," Baucom added.

He said Kuwaiti police were questioning the bus driver, a Kenyan national. He did not elaborate.

IMO, there are many more casualties and fatalities that the U.S. Military is admitting to....seems like everything is an accident...and that nobody DIES, except Iraqis in huge explosions...

"The bus... was driving along a highway to the base when the accident happened, Baucom said."

seems that the bus just suddenly tipped over on a highway....you have to really wonder what happened here....this reporting would never be allowed in the USA if a bus tipped over...

4. What on earth are you talking about?

544 Americans have died. What do you mean nobody dies? That's a lot in my book.

Huh?

6. Been There
...and these bus drivers are wacko. We were at Camp Victory, just up the road from Ali Al-Salim, riding these busses back and forth to the port and had several near misses.

I was in Iraq for 10 months, my whole Company made it back OK. It's a dangerous place, but a lot of people make it through just fine.
