... The poll of 500 Minnesotans, released Thursday, asked several questions concerning the recount, which ended with DFLer Franken ahead. Among them: "Do you agree or disagree with Norm Coleman's decision to challenge the U.S. Senate recount results?"

Forty-nine percent disagree with Coleman's effort to overturn the recount result, 42 percent agree and 9 percent are not sure.

Asked what they think should happen next, 44 percent surveyed said Coleman should concede, 31 percent want another election and 8 percent want another recount ...

Addressing the quality of the recount process, 56 percent questioned said it was fair to both candidates, 31 said it was unfair to Coleman and 3 percent said it was unfair to Franken ...

1. There are things in any adult toy store requiring 4 DD batteries that barely describe Coleman.

4. The ones thinking there should be another election are idiots.
Those that think there should be another election should not be allowed to vote because they don't have the intelligence to understand the process.

6. Or maybe they realize that's Coleman's best chance
If Coleman's stupid lawsuit forces a full or partial recount, I figure he still only gets a 10% chance of winning.

Tying up the process and forcing a coin flip would obviously give him a 50% chance.

I'd guess that a special election would give Coleman at least an 80% chance since many Obama supporters wouldn't be inclined to come back and vote again just for U.S. Senator, even if they didn't have to freeze their buns off while doing so.

9. Coleman thought Franken should have conceded right after the election, by waiving
the recount. In November, though, a recount would not force Minnesotans to do with only one Senator. So, the recount then was only to see what the will of the people actually was. Al was right in November; Coleman was wrong in November and also wrong in January. The Senate should have seated Burris and it should seat Al. I know Pawlenty says he will not sign the certificate, but at least make Pawlenty fact the Minnesotan voters with that defiance.
