Report: 11,000 Clergy Abuse Claims Filed

NEW YORK - A draft of the upcoming national survey of sex abuse claims against Roman Catholic priests has been viewed by CNN, which reported Monday that 4,450 clergy have been accused of molesting minors since 1950.

The draft survey said 11,000 abuse claims have been filed against the U.S. churchmen during that period, CNN reported.

1. this is really shocking

I am really shocked at these numbers. I did not imagine that it could be so widespread. Imagine all of those children abused by those whom they would trust because they were "god" connected.

It is sad , so very sad that this attack on innocent, trusting children has occured in such large numbers, not to mention the attempts at the cover up.
