Guess Who Came to Dinner? /Bush in Florida w/pic!

<snip>
Tampa got its first taste of the campaign to come as President Bush came to town Sunday for an overnight stay and a surprise dinner out with the first lady, before a town hall discussion on the economy today.
<snip>

<snip>
The president planned to hold a ``conversation on the economy'' today with workers at NuAir Manufacturing, a window and door manufacturing company in Town 'N Country.

Air Force One touched down at Tampa International airport at 4:18 p.m., after a trip of less than a half-hour from Daytona, where the president attended the Daytona 500. The president and first lady were greeted at a private terminal by six local people who had been selected because of their community contributions:

EDIT: Thought you would enjoy this compassionate conservative picture! :puke:

2. same ole sh*t
He actually credited Pickles for noticing the "March to War" cable headlines at this "meeting". He now says we are "marching to peace". Couldn't stomach much of it but the head-bob laugh was in full effect today. Basically the employees of Nu-Air kissed his arse and grovelled over his tax cuts.

btw most of his toadies were in attendance from the Florida House and State offices including KKKatherine Harris.

10. good thing everyone can vote
Let's be realistic... if there were a required minimum IQ to vote we'd be in trouble. It's the way we have positioned ourselves. The meek shall inherit the earth and the greedy rich bastards want to steal what is ours. It's a good damn thing a much higher proportion of dumb people vote with us.

12. I really don't agree because

statistics show that the higher the education level someone has, the higher the chance they will vote Democrat. People with only a high school education or less vote Republican because they fall for the "pull yourself up" snake oil. Sounds great just like any other get rich quick scheme.

13. don't agree

I would love to see a link to the statistics you quote above. I have two masters and with all the years of school, I've witnessed exactly opposite. Education and indoctrination may convince a large portion of the more "intelligent" to vote Dem while they are still young, but once the real world hits them and they grow "wise", a majority of the educated vote Repub. I'll search for the link, but in the 2000 election the high school dropout voted for gore 4 to 1.
Education and intelligence are not the same.
Florida Statistics
Florida has one of the highest dropout rates in the nation 15%+ and look what happened in 2000. Alabama only has 4.5% dropout rate and the went heavy for GWB. I'm sorry to say... it looks like we need to be thankful for the ignorant.

19. Actually, people with only bachelor's degrees vote GOP more
often but people with post-graduate degrees vote Democratic more often.

to have such a strong and moral leader. You can just see the responsibility that he feels for all Americans. God surely put him in office.

17. back in my early 20's I actually worked at a glass factory..
it was a total hell hole. The wages and benefits were terrible and the majority of employees were low income minorities. Its amazing how hard they worked for near minimum wage.

11. Note that he's hugging older
women who probably think he's the cats ass because they're frustrated old hens...Many older women think he's good looking and look the other way at what he's doing or they don't care. You can bet these women will be blabbing away at the senior citizen centers!

16. Oh George...THANK YOU!!
I took the day off from my Wal Mart Greeter job just so I could have my picture taken with you. With my minimum wage, I can now afford my very own safety glasses to protect me from the axis of evil and when I get my 10 cent raise after 3 months..I might even be able to afford my medication. I LOVE you George (you sexy MAN you!).

20. the picture is demeaning
to women, It portrays them as vulerable dumasses, willing to sell thier souls to an evil man. HOw terribly sad for these women that they have allowed themselves to be poster women for a warmongering, AWOL, cowardly man.

This is really sad. I feel so sorry for these slaves and for the families they must have to support. This is really obscene and offensive to me, but if people are willing to sell their souls to an evil man, a rich and priveledged man who feels entiteled to something more than they because of his birth, then who am I to question it? I am embarrassed for the ignorance of these willing, or perhaps desperate, slaves.

This type of a photo op should never be advertised. The common man needs to rise up in protest against this type of propaganda--Bush is NOT a warrior for the common man as these photo ops would have these people believe.

Ugh--I grieve for the naivite of these people who would allow themselves to be photographed like this, in the arms of an evil man like Bush who does NOT have their interests in his agenda at all.

I wonder why they did this. To keep their jobs? Or maybe they really do think an immoral ignoramus like Bush is on their side.

This is sad.
