Soldiers' bodies found in Tigris River
Sorry if this is a dupe, I couldn't spot it. (Anybody know if these were previously reported as deaths?)

1. I think they were listed as "missing, presumed dead"
I'm thinking that was how lunaville.org had them, but I could be mistaken.

Some comfort to the families that the bodies have been found. So sad.

8. Does your disgust extend to...
...the members of both parties who want to keep America in Iraq? Mine certainly does.

Getting rid of Bush won't help much if the occupation continues.

3. They had found two
earlier and were still searching for the third. He was listed as missing duty status unknown, so now update the toll to 541.

5. I remember this story...
The helicopter reportedly crashed when it flew into a cable over a bridge. I thought that was rather odd.

I also thought it odd that a soldier was killed after his boat capsized on the Tigris. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I don't think there's a lot of whitewater on the Tigris. What were they doing that made their boat capsize? And wasn't he wearing a flotation device?

This whole story just strikes me as bizarre.

6. I want Bush out. I am so mad at him and his cohorts I wish they would
set up a gauntlet that they had to run through on their
way out of D C and every person who wanted to participate
could throw rotted tomatoes at them as they ran. (My little fantasy)
No one should have died. NO one.

7. That makes 47 dead in January
The first full month after the Saddam capture. Nothing has really changed, and as I predicted, if the casualties continued after the capture the Bush poll numbers will go right back down again.
