Second major fire in China kills 39

Beijing — A fire erupted in temple in eastern China on Sunday, killing 39 people, the government said.

The blaze started at about 2:15 p.m. in the temple in Wufeng, a village in Zhejiang province, the official Xinhua News Agency reported. It the flames were extinguished about 30 minutes later.
