Story links Kerry with ex-Chesco woman

EAST WHITELAND - Township resident Marylyn Calabrese surveyed her quiet little street Friday. "This is more excitement than we're ever used to having," she said.

Calabrese was scanning the crowd of 20 or so media members who had gathered on Madeline Drive outside the home of her neighbors.

Local print and television media, a CNN camera crew, an NBC crew, a New York Times reporter and two reporters that are employed by an agency that works for The (London) Sun had staked out the house.

"But then my immediate reaction after that was how hard it must be for her now ... to just try to keep sane because there's going to be a media circus in this because John Kerry's big in the news." .......

...."As a member of the media, I know we jump on certain topics," she said. "And this really hits home."

McRorie, who still keeps in touch with her friend, heard from her about six months ago.

"The last time I talked to her she'd sent me an e-mail from Israel where she was honeymooning," she said.

media camping out- for how long?

1. An important passage in this story:
<snip>
Missy Keehn Ritti of Pottstown, a former intern for Kerry, was skeptical of the allegations.

"Obviously, it is impossible for me to say," she said in a telephone interview. She is a former Daily Local News reporter.

However, she said, during her tenure in Kerry's office, he acted professionally and gave no indication that he would become involved in an extra-marital affair.

4. Kerry should just rent out pornos
Why would Kerry have extramarital affairs when he knows he'll be running for president. Stupid!

On the other hand, I can't wait for the stories on Dubya's cocaine use comes out. I also look forward to that mannequin librarian, Laura Bush, talking about the time she mowed down that pedestrian. Ah, sweet Laura Bush.:D

8. Suggestion to the media: split that media horde up equally amongst...
All 5 investagations of the WMD intel
the Plame case
Halliburton
etc.

Then lead every 1/2 hour of CNN and Fox and every nightly newscast with at least a minute report on the statis of each.

19. nice idea…but there’s something lacking…..
TABLOID SEX <pardon my caps>……nevermind the real issues of criminality with this administration….it just lacks the titillation value that gets people’s juices flowing and the media goes where the juice flows….those that get a charge out of wanting to know what’s going on in someone’s else’s bedroom are very oppressed people….

15. You mean this girl friend?
In 1970 or 1971 junior
was dating a woman named Robin Lowman (now Robin Garner). Miss Lowman became
pregnant by junior and he arranged for her to have an abortion. Which was illegal in the great
state of Texas in 1971.
Robert Carl Chandler a good friend of junior and a supporter from way back, made the
arrangements for Miss Lowman's abortion at the Twelve Oaks Hospital in Houston,
Texas. It is now call the Bayou City Medical Center. aledgelly, the source was threatened by
Chandler and
junior's crony, a man named James R. Bath. Boy! James R. Bath keeps popping up all the time
these days, 'eh? Where in the Hell is Jimmy Boy?

Transcript from CNN:

"Flynt : Well, during the impeachment debacle, we did an investigation which resulted in the
resignation of Bob Livingston and others and we have continued this investigation and for eight
months we've been looking into George W. Bush's background. And we've found out in the early
1970s he was involved in an abortion in Texas, and I just think that it's sad that the mainstream
media, who's aware of this story, won't ask him that question when they were able to ask him the
drug question without any proof at all, and we've got all kinds of proof on this issue.

Novak : Well, you're ...

Flynt : You know, the guy admitted he was a drunk for 20 years, and if the abortion issue is true
then that puts him lower on the morality scale than Bill Clinton.

Novak : Mr. Flynt, you said if it's true and you have no proof of that. I gather you are a very
strong ...

Flynt : The hell we don't have proof.

Novak : Sir, I gather you're a very strong Gore supporter. Is that correct?

Flynt : I'll vote for the lesser of the two evils. I don't like either one of them.

Press : All Right, Larry Flynt, a man who speaks his word, but we remind you they are Larry
Flynt's words and not ours. Larry Flynt, thank you very, very much for joining us.

This was followed by an online chat, in which Flynt went into greater detail :

CNN : Mr. Flynt, I would like to know how you plan to protect yourself from a law suit by
claiming to have the goods on GWBush.

Flynt : Because we have them and the truth is an absolute defense.

CNN : When and where are you going to publish information about George W. Bush?

Flynt : When I said that we had the proof, I am referring to knowing who the girl was, knowing
who the doctor was that pereformed the abortion, evidence from girlfriends of hers at the time,
who knew about the romance and the subsequent abortion. The young lady does not want to go
public, and without her willingness, we don't feel that we're on solid enough legal ground to go
with the story, because should she say it never happened, then we've got a potential libel suit. But
we know we have enough evidence that we believe completely. One of the things that interested
us was that this abortion took place before Roe Vs. Wade in 1970, which made it a crime at the
time. I'd just like the national media to ask him if abortion is okay for him and his family, but not
for the rest of America. We're not looking at it as a big issue, we're looking at it as a situation of
people not being told the truth. I think the American people have a right to know everything there
is to know about someone running for President."

So, that's the story : an illegal back room abortion arranged by the Republican party President
who ran on a pro-life ticket.

16. Media circus because John Kerry's big in the news?
How come there's never a media circus around the multitudes of Boy King scandles? He's kind of big in the news. Only a daily briefing is all.
