The nature and details of a claimed two-year relationship, beginning in the Spring of 2001, between a young woman and Kerry is at the
center of serious investigations at several media outlets.

There have been whisperings of this for a long time. I remember reading somewhere in 2000 that this was one of the reasons Gore wouldn't pick him for VP.

Arnold, Rudy, Newt, etc. have not run for President. And none of them sent there mistresses abroad. Those are the two facts that make this different and potentially harmful.

Personally, I'm not a huge Kerry fan but I don't really care if he cheats on his wife. But what will make or break him in the publics mind will be how he handles this and more importantly, what his wife does. She has already stated her feelings on the matter. If she leaves him that would be a big blow.

So the question remains, what will Teresa do if this is proven to be true????

but I don't really believe that's the truth. We have to be prepared for the possibility (I think probability) that Kerry has a potential "penis problem." This is not a shocker, the whisperings have been there for a while.

It is my fervent hope that he and his wife refuse to address the charges and handle it like Bush did the coke allegations. Just state it's nobody's business and don't answer any questions.

If he chooses to come clean that would also be OK but not as good as the first option. He would slide for a time but most likely it would blow away if Teresa stood by him.

What he should not do under any circumstances is lie. The truth will come out and the cover up will stink worse then the reality. He is not Bill Clinton, nor is he President yet.

This is all assuming that the rumors are true and that there is more to come. Assume the worst and be prepared.

If this was about Lieberman or Gephardt I would never believe it without a blue dress.

If this involved Edwards, Dean or Clark I would be very, very skeptical and tend to denounce it as trash.

Kerry on the other hand, gives off vibes (to me) as a guy who might potentially run around. Just a feeling developed from reading and observing him as a person and his marriage. This has no bearing on his ability to be President. However, hiding our heads in the sand and not being prepared for what probably is to come is not wise.

If he is our man we must fight. If we think that this can be true and too damaging we need to regroup NOW.
