1. It was Abizaid.
In Fallujah, residents said the Iraqis died as U.S. troops sprayed the area with gunfire after insurgents ambushed Gen. John Abizaid's convoy as it pulled into the headquarters of the Iraqi Civil Defense Corps in the Sunni Triangle city 50 miles west of Baghdad.

2. No one can argue that it's not deserved. He is a commander in an
illegal, unethical, unprovoked invasion.

3. What hubris this bastard has
Thinking that he could venture out of the imperial palace without an armada.

5. they knew what floor Wolfowitz was on
aim slightly off, but knew where to point..

it's a given that the various resistance groups have by now moved into every level of the puppet police, perhaps they also have intelligence sources within the US occupation authorities themselves--they're getting this kind of information somehow.

6. Iraq resistance may have inside information
http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/8F3A8CAA-0A2E-43A4-BCA9-7C8EBEA1A519.htm

<snip>

"Pentagon officials have expressed concern that resistance fighters may be staging attacks in Iraq based on inside information about US operations.
The concerns were raised on Thursday after recent strikes against three high-profile Americans."

<snip>

"Defence officials said the Pentagon was aware that the Iraqi resistance might seek to infiltrate security forces created by the United States or to place a "mole" inside US-led civilian operations in the country."

<snip>

"Defence analyst Charles Pena of the Cato Institute said the number of times fighters have been able to target high-profile Americans is disturbing."

<snip>

"They missed Wolfowitz. They missed Bremer. They missed Abizaid now," Pena said. "I hate to say this, but it's only a question of time before a high-ranking and high-profile figure gets nailed by the insurgents."

7. They also know the UN is watching this unfold
and making a decision as to whether they should enter Iraq again..
this bodes very badly for our soldiers, who will be left in the crossfire of civil war.
