2. Windows? Safe?
I think you know the answer to that already.

ME is earlier than W2k and NT4. I'm not sure how much code it shares with them, since ME was probably based on '95/'98.

4. He-heh, Define SAFE. You're probably actually better off than XP
W2K users. ME is 95/98 (DOS) based. 95/98 have been retired and ME never really took off in sales. Not to many hackers bother with the DOS stuff, sort of like it's too easy. W2K and XP are the prize, lots of servers and firewalls running on those.

8. ME is just a slightly tweaked 98. XP and 2K are written around the NT
kernal if I'm not mistaken. And you're right.

10. Windows ME is probably the WORST version of Windows
EVER, other than maybe the first build of '95.

You could always *cough* check out a *cough COUGH* peer-to-peer *hack* app and look for *cough* Windows 2000 Professional. Works as well as XP without as much bloat and BS. Just something a little birdie told me.

5. What I'm interested to see
Is if someone finds code that purposely disables competing products. Microsoft has been caught on this before with Netscape, I'm sure there are lots of Hackers looking incriminating evidence.
