SD House Passes Abortion Bill

The South Dakota House has passed a bill that would ban most abortions. The bill cleared the House on a vote of 54-to-14. The measure was passed after a two and a-half hour debate in the House.

To paraphrase Andrew Jackson "South Dakota has made their law, not let them enforce it".

I suppose a state legislature could theoretically pass a law bringing back black slavery, but we do have that little thing called the constitution which makes such a law unenforceable.

2. Amend

I guess we could amend the constitution ... it seem the in vogue thing to do to take rights away from certain Americans. If it is good for gay people, isn't it good for women? I really do not like these times.
