Denver center requested Bush records before TV interview
http://www.dentonrc.com/sharedcontent/APStories/stories/D80KO33G2.html

Officials at a military records center here gathered documents on President Bush's service record in anticipation of a weekend television interview, a spokesman said Tuesday.

The White House released some documents at a news conference, saying the new paperwork cleared up lingering questions about whether the president fulfilled his Vietnam-era military obligations while serving in the Texas Air National Guard.

Bush spokesman Scott McClellan said the White House received the records Monday from the Air Reserve Personnel Center in Denver. The paperwork included military pay records not previously released by the White House.

McClellan said the center acted on its own to provide the records, but didn't explain further.

Officials at the center assembled the paperwork last week because they knew Bush was to appear on NBC's Meet the Press, said Lt. Col. Gus Schalkham, chief of public affairs at the Air Reserve Personnel Center.

1. Of course,
the White House wrote Russert's questions, and had their answers (defenses?) all lined up IMHO.

4. Interesting.
More lies, who would have thought. So this kinda proves chimp's interview was scripted and he couldn't even pull that off.

8. So they just intuited that this topic would come up?
And that the documentation would be summoned to support the WH case even though it had never before been summoned since "they started asking about this," according to Bush, "when I first entered politics"?

Gosh. That center in Colorado must have the same palm reader that told Asscroft before 9/11 not to fly commercial.

9. Whoops, again *LOL*! That kinda' makes Scottie,...a L-I-A-R?
Naw,...he wormed around enough to be ambiguous by stating that the documents were just brought to the attention of the WH on Monday. BUT, Lt. Col. Schalkham (chief of public affairs) gathered them in anticipation of Bush's interview which was broadcast on Sunday. Ahem,...meaning,...they provided them to the WH at the time of the interview which was like the previous Thursday (?) or Friday (?)

10. Everything with and about Bush is a staged event
we should know that by now. The interview was staged but staged to look believable. I understand that Bush got an uptick in the polls after that, is that right?

It doesn't matter to people that this man is an evil liar, who sent hundreds of our young people to their deaths and thousands more to be maimed, on a lie, and further the lie he honorably served.

Yesterday's show, holding up the meager "evidence" that Bush did serve, the pay stubs, as incredibly stupid as it was, makes me wonder if someone in the White House did not invent the incredibly stupid Niger forgery. They do not seem to care how stupid they look--and they get away with it.

11. CNN flashed Bush's poll numbers going up afterwords but...
...if you looked at the fine print, the poll was taken before the MTP interview. Yep.
