U.S. Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D., Toledo) has invited an author of a study criticizing the software security measures in electronic voting machines manufactured by Diebold Elections Systems, Inc., to take part in a forum on election reform she plans to host in Toledo on Aug. 9.

"She is very interested in our report," said Avi Rubin, technical director of the Information Security Institute at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

She was SO GOOD at explaining everything in a clear, calm way when I heard her on the Florida talk show last Saturday. (you know the show I mean--WHY can't I remember it? maybe because I know I can get the link every time right here on DU, I haven't bookmarked it. Saturdays from 3 to 6). Or was it 2 Saturdays ago?
