Jurors to get Sen. Stevens corruption case today
Source: Associated Press

WASHINGTON – Jury deliberations should begin today in the corruption trial for veteran Sen. Ted Stevens.
The 84-year-old Stevens has said that he wants a verdict by Election Day, and it now seems more likely that he will get it. The veteran Republican is charged with lying on Senate financial disclosure forms about $250,000 in home renovations and other gifts he received from his friend, millionaire oil contractor Bill Allen. The jury gets the case Wednesday.

1. I hope it is quick. If it is quick that means they found him guilty
as hell. Palin will be next. :dem:

2. Deliberation should take maybe ten minutes.
Foreman: Let's start with the massage chair.
Juror #1: He says he was storing it for the contractor. Not guilty!
Foreman: Here is the thank-you card he sent to the contractor, saying, "Thank you for the massage chair."
Juror #1: Guilty!
Juror #2: Guilty!
Juror #3: Do we really have to look at anything else? I mean, really? I haven't been home in time to watch 'The View' in weeks.
Foreman: Okay, so we're all agreed... guilty on all counts? Good! Let's get out of here and watch 'The View' at my house.
