Daily Look at U.S. Deaths in Iraq - 530 U.S. service members have died

As of Monday, Feb. 9, 530 U.S. service members have died since the beginning of military operations in Iraq (news - web sites), according to the Department of Defense (news - web sites). Of those, 370 died as a result of hostile action and 160 died of non-hostile causes, the department said. snip

Since May 1, when President Bush (news - web sites) declared that major combat operations in Iraq had ended, 392 U.S. soldiers have died — 255 as a result of hostile action and 137 of non-hostile causes, according to the military.

2. The total actually is 534
633 if you count British and other soldiers. In January alone 45 died, and so far the count for February 2004 is 7.

3. they dont even warrant the front page of the news anymore
the bu$sh cabal has done everything they can to destroy coverage of it all...the last thing they want is the coverage of the caskets, the body bags and the wounded, let alone the military families who are against the war
just cheap photo ops, and the press goes along with it. The blood is on all their hands.
