Witness's memory getting worse - Air India bombings

Vancouver — A reluctant Air-India witness continued to say she could not remember details of a crucial conversation incriminating defendant Ajaib Singh Bagri, even though a B.C. Supreme Court judge concluded that she was feigning memory loss.


“My memory is now worse than it was before,” the woman friend of Mr. Bagri testified on Monday. The court has prohibited the media from publishing any information that could reveal the identity of the woman.


She has been trying to remember “every day, even holidays,” since she initially testified in court in December, she said.


Despite her efforts, she did not remember the date when Mr. Bagri came to her home and asked to borrow her car to take bags to the airport.

She needs one of those ear transmitters like Reagan and Junior have which are connected to a person who tells you what to say.
