Owner Believes Lexus Vandalized Due To McCain Sticker

Clearwater - Frank Armstrong was preparing to go for a jog this morning when he noticed his Lexus – with a McCain-Palin sticker on its bumper – had been vandalized with obscenities and a burned American flag.

Armstrong discovered the damage to his 2006 Lexus about 8:30 a.m. at his Sand Key condominium. He said someone etched obscenities and "KKK" into the paint and set the flag on fire on his hood. He thinks his car was singled out for its bumper sticker.

"This is definitely a hate crime," Armstrong said.

He estimated damage at more than $1,000.

I think this guy is full of shit, and either did it to himself, or had one of his buddies do it so they could dress it up as "those durned libruls", when in reality he wants to kill two birds with one key and get the insurance money. This pathetic little thug knew exactly what he was doing.

There is no direct proof of this, but understanding the mentality of the Republican mind, the percentage of likelyhood is high enough based on how they think and act to make a pretty good bet this was a self-inflicted wound.

That being said, on the off-chance it WASN'T, and this really was done by an Obama supporter, then I take the same view as I would a McCain supporter doing something like this, and my message to them would be the same.

Vandalism and criminal activity are NOT OK. It works the same for both sides.
