Kids, if you're going to do this stuff, don't brag and don't ask for help on websites the NYT writes about.

2. US spies can find a student, but not a terrorist..........
I'm sure Bin Ladin was bragging big when he was allowed to bring in foreigners to be trained as pilots at American schools. And the real kicker for Bin Ladin is that he warned us too.

6. You support rape?
What kind of homophobic, hateful human being actually enjoys thinking of people being raped?

Answer: Only a diseased mind. Think about it.

7. He did it, he should pay the price
He is not a child and he knew what he was doing was wrong and illegal. His actions reflect poorly on other dems and on Obama, by extension.

11. That is just silly...
You could say the same about suicide bombers at discoteccas. We're going to win anyway. No reason to stoop so low.

12. I am accounting for his youth - misdirected yes, but hey, at least he tried.
No need to invoke suicide bombers. I would not say their hearts are in the right place.

9. Odd . . .
Can you really "hack" an e-mail account that isn't, by law, supposed to exist? Governmental affairs are supposed to be conducted on governmental apparatuses, and the e-mail account Gov. Palin was using for official business was not a government account. If I was the young man's defense attorney, I'd be inclined to try a couple of "novel" defenses to the charges, and see if the prosecutor really had the belly for going after this "crime."

At the very least, don't post it on a notorious image board where things frequently get out of hand. This kid was just being stupid and reckless, I seriously doubt he meant harm. Hopefully people will understand that instead of overreacting...
