President justifies war to parents of dead
http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/news/nation/7902641.htm

WASHINGTON - President Bush defended the war in Iraq on the most personal level Saturday, telling grieving parents of U.S. soldiers who died there that their loss is the cost of keeping America safe.

''It's essential that I explain this properly to the parents of those who lost their lives,'' Bush said in a rare television interview. ``Saddam Hussein was dangerous, and I'm not just going to leave him in power and trust a madman.''

In excerpts from an hourlong interview taped for NBC's Meet the Press for broadcast this morning, Bush also voiced support for CIA Director George Tenet, whose agency is under fire for prewar intelligence reports that seemed to overstate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction.

speechless - I am speechless

2. Can you imagine how YOU would feel to not only lost your child, but now to
find out what a total waste it was -in spite of the good face GW tries to put on it.

I would be hurt if my son died for a just cause. I would be angry if my son's life was wasted so some buffoon could have revenge for an attempt on his father's life.

17. Even worse than that. It was so he and his pals could make a buck
Or billions of bucks as the case may be, and play out their long-time fantasy of world control. Added to that, I doubt that any of those soldiers that survive will be healthy because our military knowingly exposed them to US WMDs such as depleted uranium.

Man, I detest him so much.

5. Saw this clip on Hardball
Don't think its going to go over well with anybody. He was sulking in a chair, contorting his face, couldn't have come off more disingenuous.

I don't think I've ever been more repulsed by a person in my life. He should be on trial for murder and treason, at a minimum.

6. and for securing for Halliburton and Brown and Root riches
beyond anything you will ever know or see. Now he lied about the WMD's because Saddam was dangerous. For ten years Saddam was not a dangerous anything to anybody in the region--did he attack anyone, wage war or do anything that was a threat to the US? How insane this man has become--when he can lie like this to the parents of dead young people who lost their lives on Bush's lies. This only proves that his attitude toward those young people is one of arrogance--he thinks it perfectly fine to lie to "his troops" and act like an asshole dressed up in a military costume strutting about an air craft carrier deck declaring Missions ACcomplished.

May he indeed go down in infamy , go back to Crawford with his frumpy leach, and let him go back to being a sot and giving nicknames to his cows instead of screwing up our country, causing the world to literally turn against us, thus increasing the harm that may happen because of HIS reckless, arrogant fascist foreign policy.

She completely blew off facts as something conspiratorial. It was as if she was under hypnosis or brainwashed to automatically deny those "buzzwords".

9. Coward Bush sending our troops to fight for Halliburton.
Bush is despicable and criminal. This veteran wants to see Bush jailed for crimes against humanity and our military! I wish the people would wake the hell up. 9-11 did not justify wars for corporate profits, disguised as a "war on terror."

25. This just shows that the Religious Right is neither,
Religious or right! However, the so-called Religious Right is doing their job in Bush's plan for world dominance by pointing their fingers at the gays just in the same manner the Nazi's pointed their fingers at the Jews! What a convenient distraction for the American people to get into tangled arguments over while this administration plans it's October surprise!

12. Unbelievable.....................
Bush, who said Tenet's job at the CIA is ''not at all'' in jeopardy, pledged full cooperation with the commission that is looking into intelligence failures.

''I will be glad to visit with them. I will be glad to share with them knowledge. I will be glad to make recommendations, if they ask for some,'' Bush said.

"I will be glad to share with them knowledge." One must have knowledge before one can share it. This sockpuppet doesn't have a clue to what's going on around him. He's never made a decision that wasn't already pre-approved by 'The shadow government'. I'm sure the only recommendation Bush makes will be to gloss over everything.
Please America, wake up and see this group of money grubbing, blood thirsty buffoons for what they are. If there's a God in heaven these slime must go down in November.

18. An estimated 55,000 Iraqis, nearly ten thousand of whom were civilians,
and over 500 US soldiers in order to catch an old man who had been totally defanged a decade ago. The annual number of executions in Iraq was less than the number in the US for the last decade, I believe.

20. He simply does not care!!!
He does not care that the neocon cabal are USING our country's resources in life and dollars for the sole benefit of the neocon cabal. It is an outrageous abuse of power in a democratic republic to act in anti-democracy ways for self-serving purposes!!! It is repugnant that any form of despotism is exercised in this nation. I absolutely detest this freakin' group of despots who show no conscience whatsoever about the evil they are committing against the American people!!!

22. Malignant Narcissist On A Roll
Same shit different day. Do they care? NO. Will they ever care? NO. Ever been on a wild ride with a malignant narcissist? OMFG you can tear your hair out before them, beat them with a stick, fucking trash their mother, throw shit in their face, call them on every fucking lie they have told and YET they will continue to lie.

It is an unreal and totally exhausting and gross experience. One would think that under this pressure they would crack...oh NO..they just start a new chain of lies all over again.

It is a profound mental illness. And like any mental illness it is supposed to be kept under wraps. So the American people are now too scared too humiliated too fucking insecure to cast the light of day on their 1000 pound guerrilla.

I say kick the fucking narcissistic twerp on his ass.

27. Do we really have to endure
8 more months of his bullshit and lies? This guy is delusional beyond belief. Oh, yeah, it's going to make the families of the dead and wounded soldiers feel SOOOO much better to know that they were not defending our country at all. There was no threat. All they are "defending" is the wealth of the few in power. Absolutely sickening. This guy is a royal fuckup of everything he ever does. November can't get here too soon for me. Our country desperately needs to get back on track where we were during the Clinton years.
