His actions don't always seem crystal clear to me. Does he recognize the failure of selling the country off to thugs and now want to roll things back to the USSR? Is he far Right? Is he a Maniacal Middle? Is there a plan or is he just your run of the middle wanna-be petty dictator?

I've been thinking, feeling, saying this would happen here in 2004 and almost everyone has poo-pooed it, but now this makes it even more likely depending on the outcome there and how the people react. Like you all are saying, "Testing, testing...1 2 3...testing".

I had the opposrtunity to speak to someone who was involved with all of this eastern european stuff since the time of Stalin when I visited part of the Ex-Yugoslavia, and hs said flat out that all that happened when the Berlin wall was a call to return to the post world war I dictatorships of central europe. There was absolutely no way that any of the eastern european states were going to become democracies, and not one actually has. They are all weak democracies controlled by either criminal groups, Or beginning to have to become dictatorships in order to control those groups.

Lets hope they are more benevolent dictatorships than not.

I'm not a great writer but will attempt to address this issue.

It's not just European but a world wide power grab by a select group of Neo Cons.

The Neo Con leaders of the world are using "terrorism" to take away democracy from the people (for their own profit and power). It is not just GW Bush,Tony Blair, and Sharon..etc. It is a world grab for power to install the World Union. The leaders will not be democratically elected...but CEOs, bankers, and wealthy families that determine "policy" and make decisions.

There are grabs for power by these folks as well as many religious groups, who when you think about it are nothing more than "organizations" with lots of money because of their attachment to God.

We made them very powerful and greedy with our tax exempt status to help the poor(tax exemption is not in the Constitution). Not only are they not using this for the needy but...they want our tax dollars and power over our government policy also. What happened to that tax exempt money? The following is what happened: Larger churches, temples, universities, newspapers, TV stations, real estate, leaders with great power and wealth controlling elected officals and foreign policy, etc. It is insidious.

This is not God's work of the soul but of worldly power and wealth. It is tyranny like we saw in the Medieval Ages (leaders with religious and government power). The World Union Plan is where we are to be the slaves..under a feudalistic system.

As a leading nation, we promoted democracy...but over the last twenty years (with RWers in power) didn't really want it. They set out to destroy it using religion and propaganda. This World Union system, the Neo Cons see as more profitable and controllable. As X-President Bush stated, he wanted World Order and rule of trade/government of 6 world unions (the EU and Americas now being set up...the others in process).

Of-course, the Bush Cabal would control most of it. He'd like it in place before he dies. If this isn't treason what is? Open destruction of democracy and our way of life..borders, etc. He stated this on CSPAN a the 10th Anniversary celebration of NAFTA.

It is not going to work. You can't oppress the masses and expect them to sit by to die and live in poverty while the few live better than ancient kings on the labor and treasury of others. This is not a new concept...globalization and Nation Building. Many leaders tried and failed...Romans, the British Empire, Napoleon, Alexander the Great, etc.

We are a young democracy and we should know that there are always those elite (the wealthy and the religious leaders) who would take it from us. One member of our group stated that the Constitution was an "old, outdated document". Fact is, it is NOT a new scheme for human rights. The British with their Magna Carter..us with our Constitution and Bill of Rights. People have been struggling for freedom for many centuries.

I heard a Hispanic author talking on CSPAN about democracy failing them. We can not blame our democracy or Constitution, and those around the world that claim to be democratic, on democracy being a bad system of government. It is failing them and us because of corruption and lawlessness...just plan arrogant greed and aggression(same thing that destroys all great societies).

I don't think any system of government (Monarchy, Socialism, Communism, Democracy, etc.)is bad or a failure for society but the corrupt leaders that take away freedoms, etc. from the people keeping it all for themselves. As we now see...you can have tyranny in a so called Democracy system of government.

We must remove corporate, religious, and financial power from government. We had removed corrupted religious leader influence with the Separation Clause in the Constitution only to have Bush ignore it. Corporate power was restrained by state laws that are now ignored also. Our Constitution, Bill of Rights, all previous laws and regulations, etc. trashed...politicans abandoning us for greed and power.

We must turn not to religious leaders (many who have shown their own greed) but to the concept of human rights and ethics. The concept of human rights and ethics goes back before any present day religious group. It a concept that religious books and movements have preached it is not? So I ask these religious leaders and their flock, why have you gone astray from your beliefs and God? Peace and love?

Human rights and ethics are the only path to peace and survival for our race. After WWII we said, it would be the last war because the next one might destroy us with our horrible weapons. We were minutes away from nuclear war in the past.

Shouldn't we have approached the 21st Century with this goal instead of one of "unending war" and "global domination"? We are on the wrong path. I hope, we can get ourselves away from the TV long enough to do that!! There are more of us than them.
