3. broken heart
this broke my heart.

but this is reason 1 why im at the state attorney's office. Too bad im in misdemeanor (and in the wrong county)

this is the sort of shit i would bust my ass to nail this guy on.
I don't treat the death penalty lightly, but when you have children as intentional murder victims, you don't have to twist my arm much to support it. odds are though, this guy will die in prison before he exhausts his appeals and ends up strapped to a gurney.

4. Another news conf. at 810EST
They'll provide an update at that time. Only thing they said was that her body was found behind a church.

That suspect has 3 daughters, I hope they have never experienced abuse from him (if he is the person who did this). Just hearing that he had daughters made my blood run cold.

Rest in peace, little girl.

5. I think that rotting in a prison is a better punishment than death..
Oh yes I want this guy to die. I want this guy to suffer greatly..defanlty! But part of your belief is to belive in what you think during trying times like this one..Oh sure the RW will use this scumbag as a posterboy for the death penelty..( ever notice how the Republicans NEED to USE this type of person to further its cause..They need people like this..Reason #109 why ill never vote republican )I am still not for the death penalty even for cases where i WANT the guy to die as quickly as possible. I think the guy should go thru hell rotting away in prison for the rest of his worthless life where we all know what happens to people like him..Not locked away in solitary till he gets a his injection.

6. While I don't disagree with you
I think what you say is correct. Unfortunately, the American prison system is one where they can watch cable TV, go to the gym, get an education, play ball, etc... Not exactly rotting away.

9. Not in Florida prisons
Maybe the gym and the playing ball in the yard part, but most states have cut the prison educational budget and I don't know of any state where there is cable tv in the prison.
I'm opposed to the death penalty, although cases like this make me understand why some people want it so badly. If he didn't face the death penalty (and it's Florida, so he will), he would face a lifetime of imprisonment, with a good part of that time as some Simon Adebesi-type's love slave.

8. I think we need to institute LWOP in Solitary Confinement
Life without ever touching another human being. Life without EVER being able to have a visitor. Life without hearing another human voice. Life without ever seeing the sun again. That would be better than killing him.

10. Prisons are very bad in florida
not a country club by any means. My son had the misfortune of having to spend a few hours there because he didnt pay a lousy traffic fine for a non moving violation -- figure that one out. There is no TV, very few books, and not enough food.

While some people do not belong moving freely about in society, I do not believe in torture and that is what a florida prison is all about. The people that lock you into the cages have become as sick as the ones they are locking up. For an example, look at the prosecutor's office in seminole county -- they have to lock themselves into a jail of their own making to go to work everyday.

My heart hurts for this family. But to play the devil's advocate, our society is founded on innocent until proven guilty -- even when it makes your blood run cold to do so.
