Hillary Clinton tells Ohio supporters: 'No Palin
Source: By JOE MILICIA Associated Press Writer

Campaigning for Barack Obama in battleground Ohio, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton singled out Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin on Sunday by using a revised applause-line delivered at last month's Democratic convention.

Clinton told about 1,650 supporters in an Akron high school gymnasium that Palin and Republican presidential nominee John McCain would only continue the failed policies of President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney.

"To slightly amend my comments from Denver: No way, no how, no McCain, no Palin," she said as the audience cheered. ...

... "Barack and I may have started out on two separate paths, but we are on one journey now," she said in Akron. "This journey will lead straight to the White House." ...

4. Step it up Hillary
She needs to be aggressive like this, she wasn't going after Palin. I bet Barack told her if she wants that campaign debt paid off she better step up her game.

Barack told her "congratulations on giving me a tough race right to the end. I am glad you are on board, because this country need your help with healthcare."

14. I'll bet Barack has set the tone of every appearance she has made for him so far.
She's taking her cues from Obama's campaign as far as how hard to hit and her game has been just fine.

15. I bet she was offered nothing in exchange for her help and is only giving it because it is what
she believes is right.

I doubt Barack spoke to her in anything approaching that tone or rhetoric. He knows that he needs her support and he knows that we Dems are lucky to have her.

20. I'm With You
I never wanted Hillary to be our nominee, but I don't really believe she loves her own ambition more than she loves her country. She knows McSame would be a disaster for this nation, and she doesn't want to see that happen even if it means the path was clear for her and victory was assured in 2012. Four more years will be too late, especially for the Supreme Court.

Poor Hill, her heart must be broken, but she keeps fighting. I like her better now than I have in a long time (maybe ever). It just plain sucks that the media doesn't give her more coverage, they must like the story of the divided Democrats and former Hillary supporters defecting to McSame because he picked Palin. If they keep saying it (and ignoring Hillary), they'll make it come true.

12. She never asked for "forgiveness," nor should she. Hillary is a superstar in the party, who earned
her place of honor--not a wayward Democrat who is seeking redemption. That notion is laughed at in political circles.

8. WASP
Let's start a "Women Against Sarah Palin" because
not all women believe in her tactics nor life style. Just the
ones that want a woman in the white house and don't care who
it is.. that is so sad not to have wisdom and respect for our
classy and honorable lady Hillary who has won our respect and
love.

Sarah is not Hillary by a long shot but I know she wants to
be. Women open your eyes, any woman won't do when you have
rubbed elbows with the best.

16. Clinton Campaigns for Obama
Source: Washington Post

Elyria, OHIO--Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY), swept into friendly territory today to campaign for her former rival, generating large, passionate crowds--but barely mentioning the woman whose popularly has many here fretting.

Since the Republican convention, Clinton has pointedly avoided directly criticizing vice-presidential nominee Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) as she campaigns for Barack Obama, a strategy her staff says is endorsed by Obama's campaign. The goal, campaign strategists say, is to get the message back to John McCain's record, and not to create a clash between two women.

Clinton did her part today in this middle class community just west of Cleveland, aligning John McCain repeatedly with George Bush and the failed economy.

"This election is going to be a game changer," she told the crowd. "We have the opportunity to go beyond the failed polices of the last eight years. I hear a lot of talk about this election, people asking who are you for? That's not the right question. The right question is 'who is for you.'"

Repeating a version of her refrain from the convention, she shouted, "No Way, no how, no McCain and no Palin." . . .
