Wall Street Journal columnist and former Reagan speechwriter Peggy Noonan and former John McCain advisor, Time columnist and MSNBC contributor Mike Murphy were caught on tape disparaging John McCain's selection of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his Vice Presidential running mate.

"It's over," Noonan said, and then responded to a question of whether Palin is the most qualified Republican woman McCain could have chosen.

"The most qualified? No, I think they went for the - excuse me - political bullsh** about narratives, " she said.
