Russia warns it will respond to "aggression"
Source: Reuters

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia does not want confrontation with the West but will hit back if attacked, Kremlin leader Dmitry Medvedev said on Sunday, a day before EU leaders meet to draft a response to Moscow's actions in Georgia.

Medvedev faces growing condemnation from the West, which accuses Russia of occupying parts of Georgia, while the Kremlin said it acted to prevent what it called genocide against the separatist regions.

"Russia does not want confrontation with any country. Russia does not plan to isolate itself. Russia will develop, as far as possible, its relations with Europe, with the United States of America, and with other countries," Medvedev said in an interview with Russia's three main television stations.

But he added: "Everyone should understand that if someone launches an aggressive sortie, he will receive a response." He said Russian law allowed the Kremlin to impose sanctions on other states, though it preferred not to go down that path.

7. Actually, yes...
Putin has made his intentions pretty clear. Obama has taken an identical stance on this issue and I know that we won't be able to blame Bushler once Obama is elected (mere months away).

12. Are you really that naive?
You think that once BushCo is gone from power, they're going to just suddenly quit being evil, trying to manipulate things to the advantage of their Big Oil and defense contractor buddies?

15. Are you?
Regardless of that. Obama and Biden's stance are identical. I trust them. Unless you are saying that they are working with Bushler, which is ridiculous on all fronts.

16. You're not following what I'm saying
I'm not saying that Obama and Biden would be doing BushCo's bidding.

What I'm saying is that even with BushCo out of the White House, I don't think they're going to just suddenly disappear from the world scene. I wouldn't be surprised to see them use their influence to try and shape things to their advantage.

3. "Bring 'em on...."
No doubt Bush and Cheney are taking the same attitude as before. "Bring 'em on." People forget this administration is still in power for four and a half months. And they can start another war before Congress can even speak out. Not that Congress would.

The three greatest threats since the Democrats took over have been Bush, Cheney, and Pelosi.

8. Why does Obama/Biden agree
agree with McCain,Clinton's,Bush,Cheney,etc.... If it is a
proven fact that Georgia attack on S. Ossetia was about ethnic
cleansing. Ann Coulter quote : We need to invade their
countries, Kill their leaders, and convert them to
Christianity. (Globalization) This is a real scary thought.

11. I know the reasoning
just think most people don't understand it.Trying a different
way to explain it without being called a conspiracy nut.
Everyone is so fed up with corrupt government it's about to
boil over into a racial war. That is Rove politics of division
and no one can see it. And both candidates are going to bring
the same change. They want to rule the world and destroy our
country.
