Dick Cheney: RNC convention-bound
Source: Chicago Trib

There seemed to be some question the other day about Vice President Dick Cheney's involvement in the Republican National Convention in September -- with his office saying that his schedule still was being firmed up.

Ask no more.

Cheney will make an appearance at the party convention in the Twin Cities of Minnesota, as will President Bush.

"The vice president looks forward to participating in the Republican National Convention and continuing to work for the election of Sen. McCain and other Republican candidates in the coming months,'' spokeswoman Megan Mitchell told the Tribune just now.

3.  Get load of prime-time Repugs cheering the chimp...
That will pretty much disgust independents and the soft squishy center.

Bush is so arrogant he will expect long wild applause from the party kool-aid drinkers and he will get it.

The result will be a very disgusted populace. That will win the election alone.

It is going to be sweet to see the grinning demise of the golgafrintchens...as they gather leaves and sanitize phones with great looking hair.

5. Get ready for body cavity searches!
Of course some rethuglicans may like that.

That reminds me of the time Satan's son (Dick Cheney) was giving a speech at a place I worked at (Embassey Suites) as a server back in 2002. They used curtains to block us from seeing his entrance and there were two fighter planes circling the hotel. Not to mention EOD and body guards all over the place. The pathetic part is that his donors left when we started to serve their dinner! Ungrateful fuckers!!! Hell, Don Siegelman wasn't afraid to say hi to us and the Alabama LGBT alliance was the only group nice enough to give me a tip.

14. Cheney to Speak at Republican Convention
Source: WashingtonPost.com

Vice President Cheney will speak at the Republican convention in Minneapolis-St. Paul on the same day as President Bush, contrary to reports earlier in the week that he was not seeking a slot at the gathering, officials said today.

"The Vice President looks forward to participating in the Republican National Convention and continuing to work for the election of Senator McCain and other Republican candidates in the coming months," Cheney spokeswoman Megan Mitchell said.

The announcement suggests the controversial vice president's enduring popularity within the Republican base overcame concerns from some GOP insiders that his appearance would pose a political complication for McCain, who has sought mightily to distance himself from the current White House.

It's nice to see that their convention is being turned into a parade of narcissistic criminals. Most of the American people know them for what they are now and having them splashed across television screens instead of some other shitty reality show will only reinforce our collective revulsion.
