Duty, Honor, Country: The Life and Legacy of Prescott Bush
Mickey Herskowitz
Description: From Barnes and Noble Booksellers in Houston, Texas, columnist Mickey Herskowitz discusses his biography of Prescott Bush titled “Duty, Honor, Country.” The late U.S. Senator is the only person in American history to be the father of a U. S. President, and the grandfather of a U.S. President and a state governor. In the book, Mr. Herskowitz follows Prescott’s career from his service in the local government of Greenwich, Connecticut, to his career as a U.S. senator and his role in the Eisenhower administration. He also addresses Prescott Bush's alleged business relationships with Nazi industrialists. In addition, Mr. Herskowitz explores the legacy of family values and public service Prescott Bush passed on to his children and grandchildren. Forty-first President George Herbert Walker Bush wrote the foreword to the book.

4. More on the author
Bush campaign cans biographer

Manuscript haphazard, claims one source; too candid, says another.

By Craig Offman

Sept. 27, 1999 | Recently George W. Bush's presidential campaign team revealed that it had fired Mickey Herskowitz, whom it had hired to write the candidate's authorized biography, and replaced him with the campaign's communications director, Karen Hughes. But for those who may sniff intrigue in Texas, you won't find any dark conspiracy on this grassy knoll.

He was put out of business by the 'Trading with the Enemy' act. Another Bush Crime Family scam.

6. I think I'll pass...
Since when are Prescott's dealings with the Nazis "alleged"? Didn't Roosevelt shut down GrandPoppy's bank under the "Trading with Enemies" Act? As for "family values"...

7. This looks like a whitewash, but...
it could stir the BFEE cesspool enough to have a few more

TURDS OF TRUTH

rise to the surface, as reviewers take a look at the book.

So mote it be.
