Pressure Builds for bush* Decision on Iraq WMD Probe

The weapons issue was the main reason cited by Bush for the war, in which more than 500 U.S. troops had now died.

"I understand that they are looking at the situation and want to get the whole story," Mississippi Republican Sen. Trent Lott, a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, told Fox News Sunday.

Bush was expected to make a final decision soon on the intelligence inquiry, according to sources familiar with discussions the White House has been having with congressional officials. An announcement was expected soon.

Democratic Sen. Jay Rockefeller, the Senate Intelligence Committee's vice chairman, said the probe had to get under way before the November election and should include how the intelligence was used by those who decided to go to war.

1. How it was used?
That should scare George into a nervous tremor.

5. Exactly. What is this Bush decides all about? HE'S one of the ones
to be investigated, since when does he decide? If Kerry does not make this point, then he is laboring for Bush and the status quo.

6. Bush would have been impeached by now, if the Republican
majority could put the country's interests ahead of their parochial interests. I hope the American electorate comes to this realization soon.

7. No matter how disgusting it it
bush is still the demander and chief. The investigation will be chaired by some deaf old conservative republican who has Alzheimer's
Maybe Reagan? Several convicted felons that daddy bush pardoned, and Lee Atwater,(they will dig him up) Roger Ailes and Karl Rove will be on the panel. Proof positive that they didn't know that there were no WMDs'. All a mistake you 520 dead American soldiers and the several thousand wounded ones.
