Who's in? Who's out? Who's thinking about it?
Washington state Republicans were buzzing yesterday after U.S. Rep. Jennifer Dunn's announcement Friday night that she won't run for another term.
Her suburban 8th District is the most Republican in Western Washington and a wide-open GOP primary this fall to succeed her seems certain.
"This opens up an opportunity that comes along so rarely," said KVI talk-show host Kirby Wilbur, a Republican insider, who said he won't enter the race.
"All the pieces of the puzzle have been tossed in the air," said Metropolitan King County Councilman Rob McKenna, R-Bellevue. "It's going to be a tough primary. I'm going to have a lot of friends running against each other."
