City Democrats To Attend McCain Fund-Raiser
Source: The New York Sun

With recent polls showing a growing gap between Senator McCain and the surging Democratic rival, Senator Obama, the presumptive Republican nominee is looking for additional support from an unlikely source: New York City Democrats.

The McCain campaign will hold a fund-raiser at a Brooklyn Heights home today specifically for Democrats who want to vote Republican, as part of its efforts to advertise Mr. McCain's bipartisan appeal.

1. Wow. Sounds like a list of people that need a serious boot in the patoot.

If anybody crosses over to vote for McCain, they were probably not really a Democrat in the first place.

14. That lady donated to a GOP PAC in 2005.
These people are long-gone GOP converts. Nothing new. They went loony from their class allegiances, I presume.

5. they gotta make it seem like
people besides wingnuts like their ideas.

they have other operations going on too that also give the false appearance of independent support... the thing about that is the people hafta actually be independents.. not people with right wing views.

11. Same ol same same ol
They are doing it again.....
Today on website CBS they have managed to play the video of McCain talking about his "nick" on the right cheek story as a run on to four other videos that I chose. After four times I chose another channel and did not find it happening there.

12. Does this mean he's given up winning over the Republicans?
Considering some of the names I've heard them call him, I can't say I'd blame him for tossing in the towel on that foul mouthed lot.

13. Did someone get the address of this phone booth?
Or maybe they're meeting in a porta-potty. Larry Craig could make a special guest appearance.
