1. tell 'em to go to hell
Call me an extremist, but I think the Pentagon has plenty of money ($400 billion). If they want more money, they can hold a bake sale to raise the money.

2. If they want money for missle defense
they can take a few hundred million, piss on it, then light it on fire. Because that's all the good that money does when spent on missle defense.

This has been going on for the last 3 years. It's just that the fog of "9/11" is beginning to lift.

Not another penny...goes right into the pockets of their rich criminal friends.

5. And remember...

And remember that we've now switched the program to a deploy now test later mode. By the time we definitely figure out whether the system can work or not (and there are lots of indications that it will be the latter), it will have already been built. I guess that if I was a defense contractor this is the way I'd want all my contracts to work out.

Without even going into the merits of the technology, taxpayers should be outraged that such a thing is allowed. Not that fudging of weapons systems' tests is anything new, but this is different. The adminstration is, in essence, officially saying that it doesn't even care whether it has been shown that the system can work before it gets deployed. Think about that!
