(California attorney general) Lockyer to sue grocery chains
over possible anti-trust violations. It seems that the 3 large chains have fixed prices to protect themselves while they lock out union employees @ their southern California stores.

3. I hope something happens quick
Because the wifey and I are tried of crossing picket lines to get our precriptions. I really feel sorry for these people, besides except for Ralphs the other stores are not on strike, the stores have locked their workers out.

4. I'm in N. CA the strike is not here yet
but I am ONLY going to Trader Joes and The Milk Pail for food, and Longs for med's. I firmly support the striking workers in the southern part of the state.

5. And they thank you for it!
There's an Albertson's right across the street from where I live. I've gone to talk to the locked-out workers a couple of times. Good people, some have worked there for a couple of decades, and they just want to keep what they have.

Trader Joe's, by the way, ROCKS. I love that place.

6. I hope he is successful
I have NOT and WILL NOT shop at a single market that is being struck and that includes Ralphs. Ever since the strike started I have been shopping at Trader Joes, Stater Bros, Hows (a small chain with 3-4 stores)and independents. Unless it is an 'emergency' major markets have lost my business for good as I have found ones that I like better so I 'hope' it was worth it for them. (sarcasm) :argh:
